Hurts is playing poorly today. The sack on 2nd down was atrocious. And they’re going to punt from their own 3 in a moment. Sigh.
Thanks for the radio link. I searched for an hour trying to find something that worked.Well, I don't want to get into an argument with your wife, but the Philadelphia region is a great place to live.
Anyway, you can listen to the Eagles radio PBP at:
FWIW, the Jags have taken the lead over the Cowboys, 31-27, with 10:03 left in the game.
We both grew up in the Kensington neighborhood, but I likely would choose a different neighborhood if I went back.Where?
I never root for injuries, but that may be the break the Eagles need to eke out a win.Fields is down injured, after the Eagles nearly sacked him.
That’s a shame!Holy smokes! Jax returns a deflection Int for a TD to beat Dallas in overtime. That’s going to leave a big mark. 3 game lead with 3 left!
We’ve all been there. All that matters is the final score.I spoke too soon. Sigh. TD Bears. 25-21 Eagles.
I think it was a combo of factors today:We’ve all been there. All that matters is the final score.
I didn’t catch all that much of the game and have a question. I was watching Miami’s Tua the other day and the announcers explained away his poor playing by crediting the defense’s schemes. Was there any indication that the Bears prepared well for Hurts or is it simply a matter of Hurts being bad today?
They are running Hurts waaaaay to much… that’s what they pay Sanders to doI think it was a combo of factors today:
This game had “trap” written all over it. Getting out with a win is what good/great teams do.
- It was cold and windy, making downfield passes harder than usual.
- The Eagles didn’t call a particularly good game on offense. Sanders didn’t get his 5th carry until the 4th quarter. That shouldn’t happen in cold, windy weather. With the RPO allowing Hurts to make calls, I’m not sure that’s all on coaching.
- One of Hurts’ interceptions appeared to be on Watkins cutting off a route early.
- The Bears threw a ton of blitzes at Hurts today and he didn’t seem to respond well for much of the game.
I agree. That’s worrying, but the offense relies so much on him running right now. Remove that threat and they’re pedestrian. They are running Hurts waaaaay to much… that’s what they pay Sanders to do
Yeah. I think it was Brisker that blitzed, which left the center of the field wide open.

Pedestrian? I guess. They are also missing a space making offensive weapon, Dallas Goedert. Let’s see how pedestrian it is then.I agree. That’s worrying, but the offense relies so much on him running right now. Remove that threat and they’re pedestrian.
#propernouns.I was hearing Friday on 94 he’d be ready today so guessing 12/24?
