It is what it is. This is a below average Eagles team. They played above themselves and made the playoffs a year or two ahead of schedule.
They need to nail this draft opportunity, find a long term answer at QB and figure out their identity going into 2022.
It may be a year or two before they get back to the playoffs. That’s not the end of the world if they improve the roster.

I think they ran Reager on the slip screen just to punish him
I haven’t watched a ton of the Eagles this year, but Hurts doesn’t seen to be the answer. At least today he’s too slow and indecisive in his throws.
That last pass is reason #139 on Hurts. He had a lot of time and threw into the zone trap. Can’t do that.

The positive is that Hurts is cheap and the Wentz money is now off the books. Carson is Indy’s long term problem.
Hurts looks like Wentz playing with concussion protocol. Hurts thinks he can do it all , and he can't. The running game got the birds into the playoffs and they abandoned it.

Yup and that’s reason 436 I don’t think he’s a Super Bowl answer. He can beat bad teams but what about good teams?
That’s worth at least exploring. Maybe they get away with a first this year and one next year? Wilson’s age may not align with their build window, though.
