How many of these Eagles played an exhibtion game? Not too many starters did, did they? Just asking. For years now, the first game is always a bit sloppy cuz of the fact many skip the "practice" games.
That’s just ridiculous. This is a good team. How good depends on whether they can eliminate the constant mistakes. They do that and the answer is very very good.
100%. But it’s the mental aspect that has eluded them for the past year or so. It was game one and everyone was rusty, but damn, Hurts made some Wentz like brain farts last night. He just can’t turn the ball over at anything close to that rate and them be successful.
That definitely contributed to the meh effort. But I’d rather be 1-0 than 0-1 like the Packers. They have to be saying WTF? They won the turnover battle handily and that should be enough in an evenly matched game.
The other team has talent as well. Geez...this is a tough crowd. Are we gonna say We Eagles fans deserve better?
IMO all is excused. 1rst game a million miles from home. I thought the D flew around. I thought the O looks limitless. I am super pumped, what a fun team to watch and 2 looked gorgeous in his white 26 jersey at the bar. We had a blast

My fav Baun moment was Dallas rushing him at the end of the game.
