I hate fair catches on the five yard line.
The SF gunner was right behind the punt returner; almost certain that the ball would have been grounded at the 2 or 3. I guess there’s an argument for taking a chance here, though.

The Eagles were returning the fumble and refs blew the play dead for no reason. So there’s that.

that's not correct. They ruled it an incomplete pass, so they whistles were for that, which is the correct thing to do. If you look at the replay, their call is defensible. The QB's arm is moving forward, Reddick hits the ball, it drops down and hits the QB's forearm and then goes forward as if it were a tipped pass.

What was Stoll doing on that read option? He literally jumped out of Bosa’s way instead of blocking him.

"I'm not a doctor, but I watched Purdy's injury film at least 20 times since it happened', guess that makes me qualified to comment on it also....

somebody teach the Eagles how to tackle. McCafferty should have been stopped for little or no gain, but no wrap by Epps, and he ends up running in for a TD. smh

7-7, with 8:29 left in the half

Technically yes, my point was that it should not have been whistled dead and it was another bad call that went in San Francisco’s favor.

The Eagles needed to seize on the 9ers injury mess and confusion early but have now let the 9ers regroup and tie the game.

Poor punting and poor fundamentals have let San Fran back in the game.

Eagles fans won’t like how this game is setting up. We’ve seen this movie.

Yeah, we’ve seen plenty of those type plays where they let it play out and then go to replay to settle the call.

That all started with a fair catch on the 5.
It ended with worse tackling technique than we see in peewee football.

The Eagles didn't put them away when they had the opportunity. Eagles Offense struggling against 49ers D. 49ers with momentum on that punishing TD run by McCaffrey.
Yep. If the Eagles lose the key turning point people will point to will be the Eagles not stepping on the throat there. Blown TD overthrow. Poor punting. Fair catching a punt at the 5. Poor tackling and suddenly it’s 7-7.

Poor punting and poor fundamentals have let San Fran back in the game.

My buddy is at the game, and texted me after the punt. He couldn't understand the lack of a call, and was wondering what they showed on TV. He said the ball took "a direct left after about 20 yards when it hit the wire." I'll give the Birds a pass on that one, as I think the refs and the replay HQs missed the call.

They need to stop calling runs for Hurts. He is timid and slow and not his normal self (hasn’t been for weeks after the injury).

Eagles are certainly benefitting from having the refs on their side. Gift touchdown and phantom PI call, just for starters.

This current drive is basically 90% 49er penalties, and the other 10% has been the last couple of running plays... 🤷‍♂️

Lousy coaching on both sides- how could SF not have their sixth string QB ready to play?

and how can the Eagles offense be so inept?
