Nirvana for me.

BINGOI hope he does well enough for Nebraska to offer him a sweet lifetime contract, so that we never have to worry about him coming here.

Rhule will build a solid foundation. I think he will bring Nebraska back to 7,8 and perhaps 9 win level. I see him as a sort of throw back guy in a profession that has surrendered to glitz and glamor. Honest, sincere, and old school principles. I hope there is still a place for guys like him at or near the top. I only wonder how he plays with today's 4 and 5 star athlete. Not a knock, just curious. In any event, he's one of Joe's boys and an example of his legacy. I'm glad that no matter what, he and his family will never have a financial worry. I wish him well, except vs. PSU
He rebuilt 2 downtrodden programs and is on his way to 3. Not every great coaching job ends with a championship.
When did they win 10 games 2 x? Sorry if I missed it.Which two? Before you call Temple “downtrodden”, you might want to check their 6 years before he got the job.
This pretty much wraps up my thoughts also. He is a stand up guy and a molder of young men in a profession where there are very few these days. That has to count for something. He will win his fair share of games because he knows the game well. Whether or not he can convince the right talent to go to Lincoln to put them over the top will be interesting to see play out. Best of luck to him except for head to head matchups with PSU.Rhule will build a solid foundation. I think he will bring Nebraska back to 7,8 and perhaps 9 win level. You mean like orchestrated locker room speeches?

Good grief. Let it go. Again, we get it. You hate Franklin. Start every post with it for “transparency”. That Temple team was one of the more talented rosters they’ve ever had and Penn State was at the height of sanctions. PSU had 5 scholarship OL and were converting backup DL to be starting OL. You conveniently let that out of your antiFranklin narrative. If you are so put off by Franklin and PSU why do you torture yourself and us by continuing to be anti everything PSU day after day after day. There’s gotta be some front runner team with a perfect coach that does everything the right way that would fit your high standards. He's right. Downtrodden teams don't beat Penn State and set league sack records (10) in the process. Rhule's Temple team did both. Golden is really the architect of Temple's return to respectability, but even he couldn't get them to 10 wins. Rhule did it twice in four years.

I’m tired of the constant negativity. If people don’t like PSU, they can move along and get a life. If the shoe fits, wear it. You all know who you are.I didn’t come in this thread to **** on it like others. Just responding in kind. And I’m a Penn State alum and fan - no obligation to whomever the coach is. You can move along too if you like.

Why because I don’t buy into your constant negativity? You must be a blast to hang out with. Glass half empty. No thanks. The shoe fits you like a glove.Again, move along….

You, Grim, Barry and a few others should start your own antiPSU board. Then you could all be miserable together.
Hard not to like this guy.
.760 is the career winning percentage of the top coach in PSU history- which is clearly not good enough.
No one died and appointed you supreme arbiter of what can or should be espoused on this board. Competing opinions are healthy.I’m tired of the constant negativity. If people don’t like PSU, they can move along and get a life.

apparently notYou’re conflating criticism for negativity. Negative/unnecessary responses to the original post ruined this thread. See you in the game thread.

I’m not arguing with that. I’m still a sucker for both.If it has boobs or wheels it will break your heart

Nice game by Rhule and Nebraska today.Whenever a speech is accompanied by a soundtrack it's a bit of a red flag for me. It's a good speech though, I hope he works out for them. I sort of see him as the anti-Coach Prime. Sanders is focused on immediate results with players and coaches being disposable commodities while Rhule is trying to achieve success in a bit more fundamental and sustainable manner.
I think your specialAnyone here say he’s special? I missed it.
That was like watching paint dry.Nice game by Rhule and Nebraska today.
