That’s why you don’t see disciplined well coached football teams turn the ball over every play. They teach their players how to execute.
It would be nice to see Beamer, chew somebody's *** out. (A coach or player) Everytime the camera shows him, he is making faces at the big screen.
You must be thinking of the 51-31 loss to Florida during the 6-6 2007 season. That's the worst one that comes to mind under Spurrier in the first 3 years.
Did the team take a Greyhound down for the game and spend the night at Motel 6 in Starke last night? Or some other explanation for this clown show? This is one crazy game!
As I mentioned earlier, we "settle" for what we get. We settled for Beamer. Inexcusable of the powers at USC.

We only won 3 Conference Games Last Year. Now we are 3 and 4 in Conf Play this Year. Likely To be 3 and 5 like last Year after Next Week's Slaughter by Utjr.

Oline got mashed tonight. Just as with some of Spurrier's team, until that is fixed, it's going to be ugly. I had hoped Rattler could use his legs to offset some of that this year, but he hasn't.
3 different players on 3 different possessions and you're blaming it on focus and the coach? No personal responsibility, huh?

In all likelihood, we will end the regular season 6-6. Wouldn't it be something if we ended up playing Coastal Carolina in a low-tier bowl?
No excuse for the players not to be focused. But, after what Rattler said after the Missouri game, I'm telling you why they might not be focused.
Spurrier had just a bit more credibility built up too, leading to a bit more leeway.
IF Beamer ends up showing Satterfield the door after the season, I hope that one of the sentences on the job vacancy notice is "No one in my wedding party need apply".
Then don't hire someone that you think has less credibility and demand that they perform better. If you are going to do that, expect progress to take longer.
Well there you go, Satterfield should get at least 4 or 5 years, right? That is where this thought process leads.
Or we could stop comparing the norm for Satterfield to the worst of spurrier and pretending it's a good comparison.
Edit: It should also be mentioned that UF was the national champion that year.

How long did it take a legend of college football to do it? We had some terrible offenses well past his first 2 years. Hell, he lost to VANDY 2 years in a row. Year 3 and 4.
Last year you said we are a good QB away from having an effective offense. Now, it's the OL. We are running out of positions to pin the blame.
I have no doubt that every year a position will struggle to the point to be a valid excuse for some people.
lol, I predicted it. Started a thread where I identified that this would be the excuse we hear for why the offense sucked.
I did not say that, even though the OL includes a couple of consensus 4 star senior recruits. But, as I said, we are running out of positions to pin the blame.
