It's too bad. I like Beamer a lot. I know you don't want to make too much out of one game,....but this is one ugly game. We don't appear to do one thing well, outside of special teams.
He HAD to make a good hire with OC and he went with someone who had zero collegiate OC experience and was, at one time, considered the worst OC in the NFL.
I thought we’d be around 6-6 and honestly could go either way (5-7 or 7-6). Weve overachieved the last 2 seasons. Can’t expect that to continue forever. But I didn’t think we’d look this uninspired. I didn’t think our DL would be so bad. I hoped we’d somehow see progress in the run game, though I factored that into the prediction because we have no RBs. Just a massive **** show tonight. 14 points so far on a terrible defense.
I was a Clayton White backer, but the D has gotten worse every year. I thought even last year, the secondary was solid; taken a drastic step back. Some of it is a DL problem and the lack of pressure, but I think at 46 years old I could get open against them tonight.

I feel like he did the bare minimum in upgrading. Satterfield would probably have 10 points tonight. Loggains has 14. Thats about it.
Not sure how many coaches we had lining up to take our job. We certainly see some contributors on our team jumping ship. We should’ve been more concerned I guess.
Jarvis Giles would start on this team. It’s that $hitty.

That one drive to start the 2nd half we run Joyner for basically no gain. Then what we do on the next play? Run Joyner again for no gain.
We should’ve known we were screwed when our RB transfer was from Newberry. We obviously needed to get someone. How in the world is the best option from Newberry? Not Furman, Ga Southern, or even SC State. Newberry!
Beamer must have looked into Loggain's soul and saw a good coach in there.

UNC had 17 sacks last season. SIX tonight in just a little over 3 quarters. We’re not an SEC team in the trenches. Period. And considering they only got 17 in the ACC last year, we probably aren’t an ACC team in the trenches either.

Anderson might need to be the back. If he is the bowling ball they made him out to be. Just head straight downhill and hope inertia will get you 3 yards.
Flame all you want…our OL is garbage. They wouldn’t have been on the field for the 2nd Quarter if I were the coach. There is not a single ounce of want to in any of them.
It is one game. The OL is so poor, I’m not sure what OC would be having a lot of success tonight. He may end up being a bad hire, but it isn’t like we had quality proven OCs knocking down the door.
I said this earlier but got shot down. I don’t see you having a running game. Got to get Well’s healthy and throw to open up what little running game we might have. O-line not good at run or pass blocking at this point. Quick pass game and sneaky running. Got to get Juice healthy.
