This is going to be a scary game…… I’m usually not to worried about UNC, but……..
Their QB has all the time in the world to decide what to do. Our QB has only a few mili-seconds.
With all their completions it’s a miracle they are only up 3 points.
I hope we get this figured out during the second half. If NC comes back and out and scores on the first drive it’s probably over. Beamer had all off season to address question marks. No excuse at this point of having zero pash rush, zero OL and no run game.

UNC gave up 173 yards on the ground last year.

we will not win if we can’t muster at least a halfway competent run game.
I do not know who we can beat in the SEC with this kind of run effort. Anyone?

Not as bad as the Florida game as a whole, but similar. We should have some sustained success tonight. Even our scoring drives are so quick. Any team worth a damn has to be able to sustain a drive for a few minutes at some point. We don’t look capable of stringing together a few tough first downs and moving down the field without the explosive play. And this isn’t UGA, it’s one of the worst defenses in the nation last season.
For some reason I’m hoping we coming out clicking on offense and score 28-35 points in the 2nd half. Not sure why.
I disagree. Our DL isn’t soft…their OL is better than ours by A LOT.
We will have to outscore them to win this game - don't see the defense making the plays to win it.
McIlroy said both QBs have taken hits and still delivered the ball. He’s a liar. Maye hasn’t been touched on a pass yet.
Maye could be sipping a cup of coffee back there and not spill a drop
Need to run some stretch plays. Reverse to Brown. Disappointing offensively to start the 2nd half.

It's unreal how injury-riddled we seem to be every year. Best player on O and best player on D already gone for at least the game, only us.
Sick of watching the pocket collapse too. Sick of seeing 2nd an 10 or 11. We waste 1st down more than any team I’ve ever seen. Have since Will Muschamp coached here. It’s like 1st down is a throwaway down for us.
4th down…they lined up and Brooks took the snap and sat and waited for his OL to open up a hole. They weren’t concerned about penetration at all. Our DL is ****. That was boarded like insane, but they are so confident we won’t get him in the backfield.

Looks like we’re gonna get the 3-4 win season we feared, though right now, I don’t know where those wins come from.
Our secondary is just running around aimlessly. Hard to imagine they’re not more prepared with 9 months to prepare. Really disappointing.
Beamer has overachieved in years 1 & 2. Think we may come back to earth this year and next. We need 3-4 solid classs to fix this mess. So many holes on this team.
