Our devoted fan, Carlton Thompson, has died. What a wonderful fan he was. The photo is with Judi Gaston of WIS-TV.

Oh no so sad!! I noticed that I had not seen him where he used to be at the BB games. My kids and I always called him Stomper. A big loss - RIP.

I’ll always remember him stomping up and down with those yellow crocs on.He looked like a Gamecock.
I’m glad his story got out in the last few years and people got to know what a good dude he was , helping all the people he helped as a VA nurse.

I became a Gamecock fan because of McGuire’s teams of the late 60’s and early 70’s.Gor those not around in those days it’s difficult to describe what an exciting time it was.There were an awful lot of young guys like myself who worshipped Roche,OwensRiker,Joyce and the other Gamecocks of the day.
