Texas beats A&M

Georgia wins again, and the 3 teams in the playoffs are Georgia, Texas and Tennessee.

TAMU is going to beat TX and I don’t know what happens if they lose to Georgia. Who is in?

I’d guess Georgia, Tennessee, Texas would all be in (3 teams)

Oregon, Ohio State, IU, PSU from the B1G (4 teams)

Notre Dame, Boise State (or equivalent), ACC winner, Big 12 winner (4 teams)

Last choice would come down to the following:

9-3 Bama
South Carolina / Clemson winner
9-4 A&M
11-2 Miami or SMU

As big of a farce as it is, I think they’d probably take a 2nd ACC team. If not one of those 3, it would be Bama.

So, can losing our conference championship game keep you from making the playoffs?

Where are those aluminum foil-wearing guys who said this was all already decided by a small group of people?

Yep. Only way the sec gets 4 teams in, is if aTm beats TX and wins the SECCG.

if atm loses to Tx or the SECCG, I see the committee giving the ACC two spots.
