I was thinking the same thing. We’ll be there.m, but these types of neutral sites are a crap shoot. Utah is a decent team, so my hope is that will draw a crowd
They must have all gone to the volleyball game because they weren't at the women's basketball either.
So those of you that went, how was the crowd in actuality? Surely @DesotoCountyDawg was there…
I only caught second half, but seemed ‘decent’. Whole point of these games is to get crowds and allow fans a couple hours away to make an easy trek.

Shame. I was hoping we show up there. Jackson crowds are always disappointing too. Never been to Tupelo, who know there.
Hope our Memphis folks show up at the Forum at least.
Granted. But all of us fans have to decide if we want to support, or not. Especially when we have good, proven coaches.
We do it in baseball.
I actually saw some Starkville folks on TV today.
Right now the Memphis tickets are stupid high but they should come down some.
Also these neutral site games close to home are basically a cheat code for the NET rankings.
I guess that’s a home game for them. Guess I figured the Forum had a ton on seats, etc. oh well
Good experience for the team either way. I hate that Memphis has the tradition they do, takes away from us.
Good enough to do it again next year. 1st half felt like an exhibition game; 2nd had some energy.

What was odd, is the number of people on Facebook days prior to the game looking for tickets. I had emails and ads on my facebook feed pointing me to tickets for weeks.
Then there is a guy in the game thread that obviously doesn't know there is a game in Jackson coming up with the opponent listed.
Surely people know how to find tickets. The school is doing all they can to let people know.

NET cheat and % of profits goes to NIL. As long as attendance is decent, we need to keep these going every year. Also add one to the coast.
I'm not sure Memphis basketball affects State basketball in any way. Most Tiger fans in Desoto county are life long Memphians that escaped Shelby county.
To me 3:00 on a Sunday is perfect. Doesn’t interfere with church in the morning and you are not out late on a Sunday night
