The awesome station in my area was playing new music that is dropping this year and these are the 2 I heard...
I am a HUGE Peter Gabriel fan and this is off his new album that being said I'll have to give this a couple more listens but I'm kind "ehhh" with it...

Next up is Morrissey...eww boy I love, love, love The Smiths and Morrissey but he can be such an ***. but this song has STRONG Smith vibes goin on...

Since I did a Morrissey thought I'd drop this as well. LOL...

I would die without my car. Almost did just picked it up from the shop after 3 weeks

My lifestyle is bizarre these days; I rarely leave the house. Thank goodness my car was paid off before the pandemic. I would have definitely traded it by now if I was driving it like normal but it gets used about once a week.

You wouldn't be caught dead in it, but at least it's a V-6.

Been plowing through Smiths/Morrissey stuff recently. Prefer Smiths but Morrissey has one of the most iconic voices in music. Love this video set in the Indiana home town of Morrissey hero James Dean….

Heard this on Outlaw Country on SIRIUS. iIts a kickass Uncle Tupelo/Son Volt/Wilco-like song by a guy I had previously not heard of. I’ve listened to it about a hundred times since. I love when a song knocks you out on first listen.

This is the last song that did that to me. It would probably sound good in the car.

Thursday (1/5) was the birthday of Chris Stein, the co-founder and guitarist of Blondie. I just heard an interview with him this past week. To celebrate:

Friday (1/6) was the birthday of the late, great, Paul Wilson. He was one of the founders of the Flamingos. To celebrate, a song that @fairgambit and Mrs. Fair enjoyed many a time on the dance floor:
