I do want to be on record stating that I don’t expect to win it all just because we hired Jim Knowles. I think that may be a bit naive. The optics from my perspective is PSU seems to be all in on trying to win it all. This was a first step among other things as well. Stealing him from OSU shows that we aren’t playing around now. I’d expect NIL to ramp up going forward too. This is just my opinion.
Agreed. My thoughts as well. It’s a big step in the right direction.
Any chance Knowles will implement the soft zone? 3rd and 5, and I want to see the DBs 10 yards off the line of scrimmage.

You have to be named Tom to implement that coverage scheme on defense. Bradley or Allen.
Can’t say it any better. It was a thoroughly enjoyable season. And Franklin and Kraft are working to make it better. So much positive stuff going on. Choose to be happy with all of it. No reason to be miserable.
Yeah, I agree with this. I also do not think Knowles (or any coordinator for that matter) is going to make or break the team (unless they're also elite recruiters), but this makes a statement. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen or heard ‘Natty or bust,’ for next year.

Predicting football results is a treacherous task. I seem to remember a year where we lost, I think, 3 running backs by the end of the first half of the first game.
I'm going to enjoy the journey. With a bit of good fortune, this team may improve on last years record. Finishing better than the semi finals would be incredible....though the odds are against it.

PSU makes the top 30! Think about where they must have ranked in 2015? Franklin has been bashed here for seeking upgrades. It appears he was 100% correct and the experts here, as per usual, were 100% wrong. As a highly sought after recruit, the facilities reflect where you will spend most of your time the next 4 or 5 years. Only fools would think they don't matter.

I am never confident with football. A team can be decimated by key injuries.
