Public perception is certainly strongly on our side in this one. If the committee takes any kind of common sense approach, I think they will see what most everyone else does. Yes, we lost to Alabama head-to-head, but we went on to finish 6-0 with wins over 3 ranked teams. Bama went on to finish 4-2 with a bad loss to an unranked team. Take out the unmerited and baseless pre-season expectations and it becomes clear.

If Bama gets in, it's only because they are Bama and no other reason. At that point, one has to wonder what we even have a committee for.

They made a very questionable decision to give Bama the 4th seed last season, simply because they are Alabama and Nick Saban carried tons of weight. Nick is gone. This isn't Saban's Bama any longer. They are Alabama who lost to Vandy, giving up 40 points to them.
