Penn State’s defense has been strong - statistically and with talent and depth at all positions. How much better csn we realistically get?
What has prevented PSU from being elite? Last year it was one if the worst WR rooms in all D1.

One's salary isn't purely driven by another's budget. Knowles checks a lot of boxes that others don't. Lynn was probably offered 2M or less as he's in less demand and he'd be silly to not understand that.

Just hire Poindexter and be done with this charade already. Take the extra money and throw it at a wide receiver with a pulse. Win win. You're only as good as the players on the field. Knowles isn't worth $4 million dollars per year, he just has the best players.

I think I’ve listed them already. Final four. Competitive in every game. Lots of investment in the program. Recruiting success. Portal success. Has many key players returning for next year. If you’re not happy without a national championship, only 1 team a year can be happy and everything else is unsatisfactory. That’s depressing. Horrible way to live.
Franklin is very successful. He wins at a high level. His critics are not as successful as him. This year was very entertaining. PSU is competitive at a high level. If you cant enjoy this year, can you ever be happy short of a perfect season culminating in a Big championship and national championship? That’s no way to live life.
I believe you are correct. Pay for play $$$ to cover players is outside $$$ = coach is an employee paid by PSU.

Once again, Penn State did not win a single game they were not expected to win. Happens year after year after year.

Proof of my suggestion. What exactly is a "signature" win? Who invented the phrase? Do you think each year coaches gather and say.....well Tom finally got his signature win! Or boy, do I ever need a signature win. LOL
Franklin is a top 10 coach in the nation and has established himself with winning percentage, top ten finishes and NY6 bowl victories. This year PSU defeated #16,#12 and #8 on the way to the quarter finals.
You can cry all you'd like.....but Franklin his here for a long. long, time unless HE chooses to leave. So the fact that this makes people like you miserable adds to my support of him.

Have you ever considered that the "oddsmakers" take into account which of two is the "best" team? How is it that PSU ends up the favorite? Dumb luck? What makes them likely to win? Talent, development, organization, scheme and track record of execution.
