If anyone said when Jans was hired that State would go to the NCAAs this season (and including First Four in all that) I’d have laughed.
We played beyond expectations.

Good offense, average defense. Lost 3 of last 4 (probably why they dropped to Dayton) and 4 of last 7.

If we can get by Pitt, I like our scenario much more than the other 6/11 matchup with TCU.

Our NET had slipped all the way to 49 in the last week. I’m just happy to be in the tournament. Jans exceeded all expectations in his first year. Great season.
The seeding is one thing, but the hate for exquisite dining at Rain Forrest Cafe is crossing the line.

I guess the NCAA is back to giving low seeds home games this year? Iowa and Houston having to play Auburn in a road game environment is crap.
Turns out Lunardi was wrong about us and NC State in Dayton. He had NC State in Dayton and us not. He also missed on Rutgers and Nevada. Had Rutgers in and Nevada out and it turned out to be reversed.

Beat Pitt and we’ve got a realistic path to the Sweet 16. Playing Iowa State and then Xavier in a very neutral site like Greensboro is not bad. If we were an 11 with that draw and no play in attached we’d probably be pumped.

He had us as an 11 last I heard. But, I did not think that game had playin potential.

Arkansas’ NET ranking was 21 while ours was 49. One reason for that is they only played two Quad four games while we played eight. I know it’s been said before but we have to start scheduling better. Our non conference strength of schedule was embarrassingly bad. Our win over Marquette saved it and put us in the tournament. Lose that game and we are definitely out and it’s not that close.
RPI was replaced by NET 3 or so years ago. It's a good thing this year, because our RPI was 59. Of it was still a metric we most likely don't get in.
I'm about to eat leftover pinto beans with some BBQ sauce added.
And I'm pretty happy about it.
It's always interesting to see one of you out in the wild. You need to be caught and examined to better understand how you have managed to live this long with such a basic thought process.
Do you really think overall and conference record is what determines seeding or are you just trolling?
