Highly performative, got beat on the same crossing routes run at O$U as we do, falls short, gets the call and isn't man enough to fess up...perfect fit. This is the No Hope In Sight hire. The good news is that it is no longer the kids fault and Kraft is wise enough to see through it. Hopefully, it’s a one year deal like the Minny OC. God we had 60 great years as Lions fans and 10 years to see us become Iowa. I now have a full appreciation of what Crimson Tide fans experienced after the Bear.

Probably not the dumbest thing ever posted on the internet, but certainly deserving of a nomination.

Well, I’ve been a fan for 53 years and I remember a lot of seasons worse than the last 10, so I’m not sure what Penn State team you were watching.

Tom Allen could very well be the worst, most toxic Franklin hire ever ….. resulting in a collection of subordinate defensive coaches (Smith, Poindexter, Collins, Barnes) and players who understandably and quickly tire of RahRah LEO’s bullshyft.

The 2024 season should be interesting ….perhaps not in a good way.🤷🏼‍♂️

Just because they know more football than Franklin and the entire staff combined...doesn't mean much 🙄

You have absolutely nothing on which to base this opinion except your own distaste for Franklin. You have
that didn't take long
consider the source… and then put him on ignore.

Yeah, that’s the big unknown with this hire. Do better chess pieces plus dropping of head coach responsibilities equal better results. I think the talent here is too big to fail on defense, but I’ve seen scheme tank talent before.

Is the talent next year expected to be anything like this year's? This year's defense was statisticaly great.

I don't see the same level and depth of talent. Still very good but losing 3 top corners, 1 or 2 NFL Edge rushers and a excellent LB.....perhaps a DT....D should be very good, but even Manny the Great would not have produced the same results.

We also played some terrible offenses this year. Iowa, Delaware, UMASS, Sparty. Our TOP on O also benefited the D. Tough to recreate.

We will find out on Aug 31…. WVU is going to be really tough, especially in Morgantown
