It’s not like he’s catching that ball then scanning the field. He needs to catch it then get it back to his primary receiver who was wide open. There is no way that he should see Dinkins open on that one.I’ve been saying it all year. As evidenced by the trick play, Allar is missing wide open WRs (this time it was TE Dinkins) and going to his security blanket, Warren. I have seen it in other games with the WRs also.
And what if the defense sniffed it out and Warren was covered? Dinkins was obviously an option on the play and Allar had a little time. Not a lot. But a little. It’s not like he’s catching that ball then scanning the field. He needs to catch it then get it back to his primary receiver who was wide open. Why? Don’t all announcers hate us?Only these announcers could be begging for a PI flag for Purdue and sounded dejected when no yellow laundry appeared on the field....
Reading through progressions would mean that he’d move on if Warren wasn’t available. But Warren was wide open, so he threw it to him, as you’d expect. And what if the defense sniffed it out and Warren was covered? Yes, I get that. My point is that throughout the year, there have been WRs open and he throws it to Warren. Then we all wring our hands over the WRs lack of production. It’s not all the WRs.Reading through progressions would mean that he’d move on if Warren wasn’t available. But Warren was wide open, so he threw it to him, as you’d expect.

But we are consistent…Easy 1st down for pu on 3rd and 11. Drives me nuts.
And we still don’t tackle well.
And I’m not saying that there haven’t been…but that play definitely wouldn’t be an example to me…he did exactly what he’s been coached to do I’m sure.Yes, I get that. I recommend more drinking. It's still the same game, but you won't care, or feel any emotions watching it..
Inside running game has been disappointing since Illinois. This could be a problem at Minnesota.I get that it’s our offensive identity this season, and we may be setting up stuff in the future…but this Purdue defense is bad enough that I’d love to limit the gimmicks and punch them in the mouth.
And they’ve got a big drumNice sunset at pu tonight, so there’s that.
