I agree that this is correct takeaway. I think many of us were looking for a lopsided win today against a team that we knew had several glaring deficiencies. It’s somewhat disturbing that USC was handled so capably by Michigan and Minnesota, while they often looked like a top-10 team against us…

But for now, a huge psychological victory for the team and for #94 especially.
Both of those USC losses were on the road. USC was home today. Going into today the road teams in the B1G long distance travel games were 1-8. You can’t underestimate that. This is a big win for PSU. You can’t use transitive property from other games. A win is a win. USC is a good team.

Wow big game James and crew got it done. That’s the best PSU win since the last OSU victory. Unreal
Might I humbly suggest that the BWICAC get off Franklin 's ***? Down 2 TDs on the coast playing a team with excellent skill players and a renowned offensive coach, didn't flinch and brought home the W. Tomorrow they will be rated #3 in the nation. Anyone who has the inclination to ***** should take a long look in the mirror.

Don't forget that the UM games were away games for USC. Home field is a big advantage for these West Coast teams.

That last PSU drive for the tying score reminded me of The Drive against Illinois that Kerry Collins engineered. And as good as Kyle Brady was, Tyler Warren is phenomenal. Kicker #94 - maybe there's something there, eh?

New CFP landscape renders a lot of old criticisms irrelevant. You can survive with a loss or two and in the past couldn’t. Franklin has waited 10 years for this.

No one on this board was on Franklin's arse while you were gratifying yourself watching PornHub. Away with you old man. 👊

I wasn’t bitching. My sarcasm was more directed towards those who crap on Franklin during every tough week. That was a gritty win and IMO was the best win since the last OSU victory

I'd like them to come out of the gates in a game this season like they know what the F they're doing rather than sputtering. There will be weeks where the other team won't help them out while up 14.

At home with their backs to the wall. This was their last chance to save their season. Wounded animals. Big win!
If he does, he does. Who could blame him. Life would go on for everyone.
I've seen what's out there. I think Franklin is a very good fit for PSU. I'm going on 75 and still a proud Joebot. I think James has had a difficult task and navigated it well. No broken windshields.
