Two frustrating plays on that drive.

1. on the 3rd down rush by Kaytron, JB Nelson was out leading the way, but completely whiffed on the defender that tackled Kaytron
2. on the 2nd down throw to Cephas, Tyler Warren completely whiffed on his block of the DB

More than that, Tom, they were facing 3rd and 10 and threw behind the LOS again. We should start a drinking game: every time Penn State is facing 3rd and long, and surrenders with a stupid play like that… take a shot.

?? I think you're referencing the play after the 2nd & 10 pass where Warren whiffed on the block. That was a screen play which went for 7. That's not a bad call in the situation; it's not what the D is expecting (probably; don't know the tendencies), and KLS (I think) was one missed block from picking up the 1st.

My end of Q3 observationd

1) Cephus has been promoted in practice and has better confidence. He's catching and blocking
2) There's something wrong with Singleton, but I don't know if it's physical or mental
3) Kaytron Allen is at worst a 2nd Round Pick.
