Franklin to the PSU radio network indicated that on the roughing the kicker, "we had the punt blocked, but we didn't have our hands together in a fundamental position." A pretty accurate description of how Liam Clifford was in, but didn't block the punt

I think they scrapped it. You get the feeling that someone higher up the food chain than Kirk forced his hand. The XM college football guys think he may retire at the end of the season if that is the case.

1. on the 3rd down rush by Kaytron, JB Nelson was out leading the way, but completely whiffed on the defender that tackled Kaytron
2. on the 2nd down throw to Cephas, Tyler Warren completely whiffed on his block of the DB
