Take a team like Kentucky. Rumor is that their kids are already being pursued. I'd love to get their WR Barrion Brown, but I could see the big 3 bidding for him.
If things are already slighted to a handful with HS recruiting, just wait until they supplement their ranks with the kids who standout elsewhere.
That will destroy college football more than anything.
If you pay attention, I’ve never been critical of specifics, I’m a body of work guy. I think he’s top 20% but I’d like to see something special. Like lots of us, I think he’s a great recruiter, so there’s that.
Fair enough, but you have insinuated today, after a 45 point win, that we should all want a different coach and not be satisfied.
Your point. You gave Richt at UGA being successful and then getting replaced with great results. I asked how many other places have we seen that? I don’t think it is many.

I don’t want an EDGE guy. Franklin gets plenty of them. I want a massive space eating DT that requires a double team or blows up plays and stuffs the run. I don’t want to see Michigan run the ball like that ever again.
You just described the feelings of 99.9% of the STATE fan base, but tearing it down with negativeness from the inside out doesn’t solve anything.
That was not my point. Results aren't an abstract. They're measured relative to the objectives of the school. At some places a coach like Richt can continue indefinitely. At UGa they fell short and he was replaced.
Similarly, some fans can be dissatisfied with a 10 win season when their team wasn't in the hunt for a championship.
You win. You wore me down. They suck. Franklin sucks. Tear it down. We deserve more than 10 wins. Our recruits are terrible. Our freshman are terrible. Our 6th year Sr is terrible.

Mark Richt had an embarrassment of riches sitting in his backyard, in terms of talent, and he couldn't pull enough in. Franklin has no such luxury - not even close.
Again our posts gave less than zero on game outcomes. For the record you’ll never read me ragging out an individual athlete. Cause they’re kids.
So PSU's expectations for the program are lower than UGa's? Wonder how long it will take Franklin to realize that he doesn't have "alignment."
Well, they were kids. Now they are paid. Some would argue that changes the narrative. Not necessarily for me, but some think they are now fair game for any criticism.
It’s not about our posts changing the game outcome. You don’t think the fans reactions and perspectives don’t permeate the walls of the Lasch Building to the coaches and players? Why wouldn’t they? It’s a social media world. Everything is accessible to everyone.
You’re taking way too much credit. When not studying or playing ball, the boys are looking for girls.
I want the playoffs and to be in the conversation for the championship. But I’m not going to ***** and moan about a possible 10 win season and a NY6 bowl when the preseason over under was 7-8 wins. I have no control over any of it. I watch it for entertainment and enjoyment. I don’t watch it to get frustrated.
I think you are underestimating the power of electronics in today’s society. Walk across campus and see how many kids you see staring at their phones while they walk.
This isn't hard, skippy, unless you're purposefully trying to be a dick about it. PSU is at a pretty severe natural disadvantage vis-a-vis programs like Georgia, who are swimming in recruitable talent. It's hard NOT to have the talent to compete for a natty down there, if you're even trying ... it's a MUCH tougher task to assemble the talent to do so at PSU. So you can give yourself an expectation ... a goal, of competing ... while realizing it's simply much less likely, and not being the old white man version of Veruca Salt when you don't get what you wish for.
You are saying college age kids aren’t on their phones a large majority of time? Are you Amish? Heck, you have been on your phone all afternoon. You telling me your kids aren’t spending time on their phones? They are unicorns then.
You seem like a good guy. I’m not trying to argue. Just good conversation. Hope you aren’t taking it any other way.
