Will be interesting in that we will play New Year's Eve and then have to wait a day to see how the Sugar Bowl turns out with ND and Georgia. Who would we want to play between the two if we beat Boise?

Once again, I’ll point out that there are a few posters who are noticeably absent for the last several weeks. I wonder why?
Overall thoughts on today’s win:
Happy for the decisive W, but concerned it was a bad look for college football. I hope the committee doesn’t go back to letting fewer teams in, or not letting Cinderella into the dance. Or worse - the SEC and B1G pushing for a bigger guaranteed share of spots or breaking away entirely.

I’ve been telling you guys for 2 years. It’s going to be the B1G and SEC in a NFL style playoff ultimately. Everyone else is getting ghosted at some point.
Yeah, I agree…perhaps I misspoke. I just want them to keep moving forward…keep letting the small schools have a chance.
After Indiana and SMU that will most likely be the argument. With Clemson looking legit against Texas, the argument for additional spots or an 8 team playoff is not outlandish. Let’s see what happens with Arizona State, if they get smoked by 24 or more it will make that argument ironclad.

Offense was not playing well. Even if you get it, you still have 80 yards to go.
We had all the momentum, little to gain, a lot to lose.
I think it was an awful decision in that specific situation.
All that matters now is the final score. Congratulations to everyone!

People underestimate the value of possessing the ball. Keeping the ball in that spot rather than giving it to them in plus territory is a lot to gain.
