Alright everybody, here's the link to our Masters pool. You shouldn't need a code to join, but if for some reason it asks for one, it's 380449#cgew

http://www.easyofficepools.com/join/?p=380449&e=cgew

Rules are simple:
  • $25 entry fee (feel free to create more than one entry but it's $25 PER entry)
    • Signup deadline is Apr 9, 10PM
  • Pick 6 golfers from 6 tiers - Top 4 scores will count, worst 2 are dropped
  • Any cut golfer that gets counted towards your Top 4 will receive an 80 per remaining round
  • Tiebreaker - Guess winning golfer's final score
Payment due before signup deadline or else the entry will be deleted

PayPal: @CamPeyton
Venmo: @CAMERON-Peyton-3

Let's have some fun, and let me know if anyone has any questions or trouble signing up.

Quick weekend bump.

I just submitted my picks, and I really want to take Morikawa in the first flight, but how do you not roll with Scottie?

Been sitting on my picks.....if I want to change my picks up until the 9th, is that possible? This is what has held me from submitting so far...may wait until Monday if I can't change them after submission.

Good question, and I was having a hard time determining what I was only able to see because I was an admin, but it does look like everyone can edit entries up until the deadline.

If you go to the Your Pools section from the user drop down menu, you can go here to edit

Hey everybody, thanks to everyone who has signed up and paid, and here's a quick update...

8 entries so far and 7 paid which is great. Just waiting on Akins

With only 8 entered, we're just going to stick with winner takes all, so we're looking at $200 to the winner if nothing changes

**Here's the part of the scoring that I want to make sure is crystal clear before we get started. Final scoring will only count your Top 4 scores, and it will drop the worst 2. However, be aware that it assigns 80s to the remaining rounds for any golfer that gets cut or withdraws. This is to avoid a scenario where a team with 3+ cut golfers actually benefits from having less golfers while other guys are shooting over par on Sat/Sun.

Hopefully all this makes sense, and it's pretty much the default settings for this pool, but let me know if anyone has any questions.

Looking forward to the showdown!

Quick update - we're up to 11 entries and all have paid

With this many now in, I'm thinking about having some kind of 2nd place prize, but let me see where things are tomorrow afternoon, and I'll let everyone know the final payout plan before Thursday's opening round

Research? On each group I told my wife to pick a number between one and ten! That way it’s her fault if I lose.

I spent about 3 minutes picking and figuring it out. I will probably do better than trying to guess the stock market these days. I missed the tariff lifting and 10% bump today but I also missed the 20 % loss.

I have never tried to time the stock market much. I just bought and bought and bought but I never been this close to retirement and panicked.

no cofidence in the no 1 player in the world and defending Masters champ? only 4 of 13 teams picked him.
Yeah, I do a lot of DraftKings golf and the typical idea with betting against Scottie is that if he somehow doesn’t do well, you’ve got a leg up on 70% of the field that picked him.

That said, no doubt that he has a way of making you look really dumb when you don’t roll with him, and I’m sure he’ll do it to me again here

My tier one pick was Ludwig Aborg.....was shocked to see only one other pick him.....he finished runner up in the Masters last year, the no 5 player in the world, young and hits it a mile.......so he will probably miss the cut.

I went with Scottie, Aborg was my #2 pick out of that one

Solid pick. His recent MCs scared me off, but he’s got the tools to win this thing. That kid’s gonna be good for a long time

I'm no longer concerned with winning so now I'm just worried about beating the kid. Which one is he anyway?

DGW with the early clubhouse lead thanks to Rose’s phenomenal opening round. Things can change quickly at Augusta, though, so we’ll see what today brings.

And yeah… I’m an idiot for not rolling with Scottie
