If y’all could, say a prayer for my family tomorrow, specifically my sister brother in law & nieces. My nephew is being buried. He committed suicide at 32 years old. If you or anyone you know is struggling with depression, get help. And for Gods sake stay off the Adderall & Xanax.

You're absolutely right about "get help." And may I add, the person closest to the person going through depression needs to go with them to tell the doctor exactly what is going on. If the doctor doesn't seem be engaged to help, find another doctor.

I have a childhood friend whose son committed suicide while a student at MSU a few years ago and it’s tough to watch from afar the mourning to this day and my heart still breaks at every reminder(I’m sure his is 10 fold)

I’m sorry Pat. 32 is too young to go. My thoughts are with you and your family, along with my prayers for God to hold you all close and bring as much peace to you as is possible under the circumstances. I’ll say a separate prayer for your sister. Hold her close, literally and figuratively. About a year ago we had a similar situation in my family. That’s tough on everyone, but especially mamas.

I've dealt with suicide of a loved one. The emotions are confusing and intense. Thoughts and prayers. It sucks. Bad.

So sorry for you and your family. It will be tough. Time will not heal the pain. Our daughter took her own life five years ago at 34. Prayers for you and your family.
I’m so sorry man. Canton Academy lost an 8th grader to suicide back in January. Very sad time for all of us. Remember that someone can and will always help you in a time of need.
