Note, I haven't had any premium channels in years so I've only seen a handful of Entourage and True Blood episodes, and then I've basically never seen a minute of anything else. I'm not completely discounting cable tv, but based on the shows that have been winning awards for the last 5-6 years, it seems like most are on HBO or Showtime.

they've got Newsradio, Wings, Cheers....that sort of thing. Obviously, they don't have all of Madmen (series to watch start to finish was the question after all).

I've seen the whole series, but that's one that I wouldn't mind going back and watching again. I can remember wondering what in the hell they were gonna do after winning state during the first season, but they managed to put some great story lines into every following season to keep it interesting.

Prison Break is another one that I wouldn't mind going back and watching the first couple years.

I did the same before this season because so many people recommended it. I think it has the possibility to be better than the Soprano's by the time it is all said and done.

I also did the same thing with Dexter. After the 1st couple of episodes, I stopped watching it because I found it a little boring. Started it again and have watched all episodes. It is a great show, but started a little slow to me.

One of the few shows you really never know what's gonna happen next. There have been several WTF moments in the 4 seasons I've watched it.

Heard a lot of talk about Dexter, Lost, Rescue Me, Sons of Anarchy and a few other shows and have watched episodes of all at some point. Breaking Bad and The Wire make those shows look like garbage in comparison, you can not go wrong with either one. If you think Dexter is good, then you'll love Breaking Bad or The Wire. I can't get past Dexter, he'll always be the gay brother from Six Feet Under to me, also a good show.

Army Wives and Friday Night Lights are good.<div>
</div><div>Army Wives is a little soap-opera-ish, but I have to admit, I liked it. My wife was crazy addicted to it.</div>

I just finished Season 2 and can't wait to watch the rest. I hope they get Season 6 up soon - I'm going to be pissed if I finish Season 5 before they get Season 6 online.

is season 2 where they just cut off in the middle of the season ...i guessed writer strike but it was odd as hell ...couselor and the next episode she was principal

you can get a hulu plus 7 day free trial and go back and watch season 5... isn't season 5 the one that just finished and they are not making a season 6 are they? I thought it was done.

but it grew on me... maybe 5-6 episodes in I started coming around and by the end of the first season I was hooked. I'm almost done w/ SG-1 and just started Atlantis.

Also on my list: Dexter, Weeds, Eureka and Psych.

Whatever the season total is, yes, the series is over and the final season is not on Netflix.

Yeah, Season 2 ended very abruptly. Not sure if it was writer's strike, or what, but a lot of story lines were left hanging, then picked up out of nowhere starting Season 3.

FNL is the best ever.<div>
</div><div>Yeah, Season 2 was cut short because of the strike. But there was lots we didn't get to finish out. Whatever happened to Santiago? Lyla and her church stuff. Buddy and Tyra's mom getting "friendly"? Smash and his lawsuit and he recruitment.</div>

I wish they have finished out the series a bit better but it is worth watching all of the seasons. I have always liked a good western and I think this series was great.

edit to add: be prepared to cuss a lot after watching it though
