I'm a hole in the wall dive kind of guy usually so something like Hot Roast Beef, Oyster, or Shrimp PoBoy from Lil Rays w/ an order of onion rings and a Barq's Root Beer in a bottle always makes me happy. Then some Ambers from Abita and I'm a happy camperLil Rays is always good. Pirate Cove in Pass Christian is good for po-boys (owned by a good dawg as well).

Bodegas in BSL is a good sandwich shop. Sycamore house is good fine dining.Bay St. Louis has some good restaurants. I've always liked Trapani's.
Ate brunch there last October, didn't live up to the hype, but it may have been an off time.Lady May in Oceans Springs is also supposed to be really good but haven’t eaten there yet.
That’s salt pepper oak. That’s really diamondheadI bought a golf cart from Gulf Coast Carts in Pass Christian. I went to pick it up and there was a BBQ place next to the cart place. Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever put in my mouth. Brisket and pork belly was world class. Can’t remember the name of the place, little hole in the wall joint but it was good.
Chimneys and White Pillars were really good. Madison De Lu had very good gumbo and shrimp poboy. There’s a fancy Waffle House in Gulf port as well! What do you guys recommend for best local food spots in and around Gulfport?
