I bet four of these and am buying out of three of them. Doesn't look like the hurricane will affect these games as much as projected.Games that will be affected by the hurricane (80-90% chance rain and 10-20mph wind). Wind over 15mph is typically the biggest weather factor, but heavy rain and/or rain combined with wind will drive down points.

It’s FIU…who also showed a pulse last week. I’m gonna be in Vegas this weekend and I won’t be going anywhere near that game.Uhhhhh, UConn is a favorite.....on the road.
Hope you sprinkled a little on the ML (I did!).
Ha! Me either. Hitting a sports book, and if so, which one(s)?It’s FIU…who also showed a pulse last week. I’m gonna be in Vegas this weekend and I won’t be going anywhere near that game.
I’ll be working the golf tournament so if I get the chance afterwards on Saturday, I’ll probably be at Red Rock.Ha! Me either. Hitting a sports book, and if so, which one(s)?
An incredible 0-5 week last week. Made even more incredible by the fact I also bet the Clemson-NC State under, which lost in the last seconds. I will post picks again this week so that you can make the opposite bets and cash in. 2-8 for the season!A 2-3 debut in this space last week. Not great! The best (or worst) part about gambling is that you can dust yourself off and get right back on the horse the next week (or next day if you're a baseball/basketball/hockey bettor). I like your Purdue & Duke picks. An incredible 0-5 week last week. Made even more incredible by the fact I also bet the Clemson-NC State under, which lost in the last seconds. Why in the heck would you want anything to do with making a play on the Wisky vs Northwestern train wreck of a game??? Not to mention picking a god awful team laying 10.......An incredible 0-5 week last week. Made even more incredible by the fact I also bet the Clemson-NC State under, which lost in the last seconds. Well, not that I'm playing that game, but often the best time to play a team is when everyone thinks they are god awful. Not to mention, teams often get a bump right after a coach is fired. If I had to play it, I would lay it.Why in the heck would you want anything to do with making a play on the Wisky vs Northwestern train wreck of a game??? Makes sense and I stand by my previous speculation....First Penn State-Michigan spread released; James Franklin watches a QB committed elsewhere: Newsstand
Penn State news, notes, and updates for Oct. 7 include the first Lions-Michigan spread plus PSU saw a quarterback committed elsewhere.www.on3.com
Opened as -10 dogs vs Michigan. Bet down to -8 so far. Thoughts?
+7 at Michigan and -4.5 vs Minny at this very moment based on my own power ratings. No handicapping.
As I turn my handicapping focus almost fully to college hoops, though I'd share this nugget...
Many will use 3-4 as a standard, but it’s a little smaller than it used to be.Is that a pretty typical HCA for college hoops? I'm sure it varies by team/venue, so I'm talking average. Has it gone down over the years like football?
It wasn't 0-5, but I continue to be a disaster picking college football games against the spread this season. 2-3 last week, to bring the season total in this space to 4-11. Another week of picks for your benefit. I'm heavy on the road teams this week, and we all know that always goes well. Fade them, and cash in!An incredible 0-5 week last week. That Oklahoma line stinks out loud. I was thinking similar on MSU until I read this weeks article in the Athletic on their depth issues. Due to an injury MSU basically doesn't have any competent coverage LB's among other issues. Not a pretty picture of the MSU roster. So sad. That Oklahoma line stinks out loud. Sportsbooks likely welcoming KU money from the public.
Kind of like Utah, but would wait to see if -3 pops.
Also, there are Wisconsin-7 numbers out there, so you should look at other books if you haven't bet it already (although I would lean MSU+7.5 if anything).
I'm aware. They have had some injuries in the secondary as well. However, this line has now gone from-7.5 to-6.5, which is a pretty significant move. Bet wisky at your own risk.I was thinking similar on MSU until I read this weeks article in the Athletic on their depth issues. Bama, like the Cowgirls, Steelers, and Packers, are a big public team so when Young was announced as a starter, all of the lemmings ran to the window.Gotta add Bama to the card. Public all over Tennessee yet this line keeps going in Bamas favor.
In the past this has certainly been true, but today, I'm seeing around 70pct of the tickets were on Tennessee. That's typically an indicator that the public is on that team.Bama, like the Cowgirls, Steelers, and Packers, are a big public team so when Young was announced as a starter, all of the lemmings ran to the window.
Your intuition was correct! I didn't play the game.I'm aware. They have had some injuries in the secondary as well. However, this line has now gone from-7.5 to-6.5, which is a pretty significant move. Bet wisky at your own risk.
We are witnessing a truly amazing run of picks. ANOTHER 0-5 week, and 4-16 for the season. I challenge you to find a more consistent college football prognosticator in the country. Believe it or not (and you probably don't), I had a great record last year picking college games and made some good money. Maybe things will turn. I'm on a mission to get this thing back to .500 by the end of the season. This week's picks:
MARYLAND -13.5 over Northwestern
Duke +9 over MIAMI
PENN STATE -3.5 over Minnesota (sorry)
Purdue +2.5 over WISCONSIN
Kansas/BAYLOR over 58.5
