Such a wide variety of films coming out. First, we had the horror wave, then the space horror, then the graphic, twisty, sort of female in peril horror. So diverse .
How about some good ole fashioned Tommy Cruise?

Amazon Prime also has the new Alex Cross movie with Aldis Hodge coming out.
looks good.
Yes I think so. I can't tell if it's based off a book alone or a combination of them. I really liked the first 3 or 4 in the series and then Patterson became the Thomas Kinkade of the book world.I think its a series, isn't it?

He sells so he’s doing something right.Hot take:
Most underrated actor of his generation.
Won’t go that far but he does play his type very well. “Magnolia,” “Eyes Wide Shut.” I think that EWS is seriously underrated.Hot take:

So much out there it’s hard to keep up. But, I know the TMB cinephiles love nothing more than a gritty war film. A24 doesn’t miss much and this looks good.
Do we trust Garland @Midnighter after the last outing? Civil War was what? A success? A failure? Unnecessarily violent? Many critics liked it but the viewing public was less gracious with their reviews.

Take away his nuttiness, and his 40 year run is almost unfathomable. So many amazing movies, doing stunts himself, and as you said, truly a great actor.
Risky Business, All the Right Moves, Top Gun, The Color of Money, Cocktail, Rain Man, Born on the Fourth of July, Days of Thunder, a Few Good Men, The Firm, Interview With a Vampire, Jerry Maguire, Eyes Wide Shut, Magnolia, Minority Report, the Last Sumarai, Collateral, Edge of Tomorrow, the entire Mission: Impossible Series. I mean it's just absurd.
I’ll add this too….first official poster for James Gunn’s Superman….
I would argue that he plays the same cocky guy in every movie. Cocky kid, cocky football player, cocky pilot, cocky vampire, cocky race car driver, and don’t get me started on Cocktail.Take away his nuttiness, and his 40 year run is almost unfathomable. 100%. Nothing wrong with playing your niche perfectly.I would argue that he plays the same cocky guy in every movie. Cocky kid, cocky football player, cocky pilot, cocky vampire, cocky race car driver, and don’t get me started on Cocktail.
Just kidding. He makes good movies.

I’d say Robert DeNiro but okay.Yup. See: Jack Nicholson. Absolutely zero range - but he does his thing better than anyone.
Not that I’ve noticed but the Bob Dylan movie is 79% Tomatometer.any reviews on the Bub Dyaln moive?
Yea it Tis!Not that I’ve noticed but the Bob Dylan movie is 79% Tomatometer.
FWIW, the Coen Brothers “Inside Llewelyn Davis” is very fine.

Tentatively planning on seeing Nosferatu open captioned at the American Film Institute’s Silver Theater on Saturday.Headed to see Nosferatu this afternoon, will report back.
I really don’t like Unforgiven, but I’m sure I’m in the minority here. And Million Dollar Baby, I don’t think it’s aged all that well. But TOJW and Mystic River are enduring classics.Juror #2 on MAX was pretty good. I don't know if Clint Eastwood has ever directed a bad movie.
Just got back from ‘ a complete unknown’. I and my wife, who is very picky, both enjoyed it It only covers from 1961_1965. Not sure how it will play with younger generations, it seems this Dylan guy was written using Bruce Springsteen as a role model. Not that I’ve noticed but the Bob Dylan movie is 79% Tomatometer.

I don’t get the Springsteen reference. Are you saying that the film seems to reflect Springsteen’s career more than it does Dylan’s?Just got back from ‘ a complete unknown’.
