Before getting into a spoiler-filled post - any general thoughts on the ending of Succession? Maybe the most anticipated finale since Better Call Saul….

SPOILERS….

I have mixed feelings - on the one hand liked where the kids ended up and the reveal that they’ve never been serious contenders for the job (save Kendall, who has as much of a claim as anyone) - but, not happy with Tom as CEO. Would rather all of them get left out (douchey Greg too whose slow evil turn was rather disappointing) and have some unknown take over. That said excellent series overall and some wonderful acting by everyone in the finale.

Tom is the perfect choice. He is the spineless figurehead that Matsson Wanted. He also had the best lines.

Other shows I would recommend - Waco and Waco the Aftermath on Showtime. Both tell very interesting stories with great casts.

I'm seeing a lot of reports of people not liking it. 🤷‍♂️
I maybe late to the party on this but the 2nd season of Good Omens is dropping on July 28th. I thought the first season was really funny. David Tennant is a hoot.

Yeah but he’s less experienced than Kendall to be honest. Sure he’s a spineless empty suit but I don’t like him being rewarded for being an opportunist snake.

Flamin’ Hot, Hulu. Supposed story of a lowly janitor at Frtio-Lay creating Flaming Hot Cheetos recipe. Nice attempt at
an anyman can make it story except it’s all ********. The dude didn’t invent Flaming Hot Cheetos and hence, the film is pretty much a lie.

I linked previously - so, it’s all made up? Damn.

"From," by the creators of Lost, definitely has a lost feel to it, along with a little Stranger Things for adults, and maybe some Night of the Living Dead.

You can watch Season 1 on Prime, but it's on MGM+, you'll need to subscribe to watch Season 2. I don't usually go for this type of show but this one was really good. I might have to get MGM+ to watch season 2.

Missed this when it originally came out but the Amazon Prime animated adaptation of the Robert Kirkman Image comic ‘Invincible’ is incredible. If you are looking for something to scratch the super-hero itch after the bevy of ‘meh’ stuff from Marvel and DC, this will do it. Incredible cast (JK Simmons, Sandra Oh, Steven Yeung, Walton Goggins, Zazee Beetz, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rennels, Mahershala Ali, Justin Roiland, Seth Rogen, Mark Hamill). Gist is this universe’s version of Superman (named Omni-Man) is the prime suspect in the murder of the world’s mightiest super-team and his son is just starting to get his powers and must learn how to use them. Would have been a tremendous love action show but would have cost a billion dollars to make.

It picks up, very good
What threw me off was the comedic way that G Gordon Liddy and Howard Hunt were portrayed. No that I was offended or held these guys in high esteem, but it seems more of a spoof than an accurate portrayal. I was alive but too young to have been aware or understood the details of what happened in real time. Was hoping for more intrigue.

I think Righteous Gemstones new season is hitting MAX this weekend. To me it's probably the funniest new show since Reno 9-11.

Have you seen his prior series with Walton Goggins, Vice Principals? Also hilarious

No but thanks for reinforcement that I need that on the list.

This show though... They can make anything funny. Brutal violence, fleecing the flock, penises.... They actually made penises funny.

Some controversy around this and rightfully so. Stan Lee was huge and important but he’s nothing without Jack Kirby…

This tweet outlines several of the issues surrounding Stan Lee as the ‘creator’ of all things Marvel. He wasn’t and never was.

It gets there, think they wanted to portray them as bumbling boobs and when you see how it all went down, I get it. Learned some things I didn't know though, worth the watch for sure.

S2 of The Bear has been great so far ,
all episode available on Hulu. Episode titled Fishes, is a great one as it takes place in the home of Carmy at Christmas with all the family intact, including Michael.
Loaded with guest stars, Bob Odenkirk as Uncle Lee, Jamie Lee Curtis as the mother,
Sarah Polley and John Mulaney as cousins. It is a wildly chaotic packed episode reminiscent of the S1 episode where they were trying to keep up with the mass amount of orders they got in the restaurant. A terrific show for sure.

Yeah - hear S2 builds on and is better than S1.
