Barry last episode this season, wow. Don’t know where this will go in season 4. One more month till the last of Saul.
It pretty much had me when I saw it was being filmed in New Mexico and Monument Valley. Also that Zahn McClarnon was a lead role. Loved him in Longmire.Watched it also should be good
He was also great in season 2 of Fargo, Westworld, and BarkskinsIt pretty much had me when I saw it was being filmed in New Mexico and Monument Valley. Also that Zahn McClarnon was a lead role. Loved him in Longmire.
Very underrated actor.
Yeah, I watched E1 last night and it's off to a solid start. Has that "Wire" feel to it.We Own This City is a very hard show to watch. (Caveat: I watched the first episode in a hotel room that had HBO and don’t have the ability to follow up.) In The Wire and Homocide: Life On the Street you at least had cops trying to do the right thing and catch the bad guys.
Finally started watching it and am 4 episodes in. Pretty interesting. I live in Bmore and had heard rumors about some of that stuff and locking guys up for sitting on their stoop was a definite thing under O'Malley. We Own the City - episode 2, final scene in a Bal'mer bar. Is that PSU playing Maryland on the tv?
In 2017, that would have been the infamous 66-3 game.
Interesting...I like it.Obi-Wan series:
Snooze fest. Bad storyline, bad cast, bad acting.
Bridges is 73, coming off chemo, and he’s doing these intensely physical fights, over five minutes screen time. Good acting, John Lithgow really good.Started The Old Man on FX with Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. Two episodes in and terrific already. Also What We Do In The Shadows is back starting July 12.
The charactern in the novel it is based on is only 60, so Jeff is kicking *** at 73!Bridges is 73, coming off chemo, and he’s doing these intensely physical fights, over five minutes screen time. Good acting, John Lithgow really good.
Awesome! What part? I love the Abiqui area but am going to Las Cruces in the fall to look for possible retirement houses.
Sandia Park near Paa-ko. I like Abiqui as well. Haven’t been to Las Cruces yet. We liked Alamogordo, Taos and the ABQ area. Great state.Awesome! What part? I love the Abiqui area but am going to Las Cruces in the fall to look for possible retirement houses.
You hated the series but watched all of it?Obi-Wan had its finale, thank goodness. That was an unnecessary show. I would have preferred more Jar Jar!
Like watching a car crash I guess. Had hopes it would improve but did‘not. You hated the series but watched all of it?
I didn't think it was nearly as bad as you. It certainly was/is better than anything on regular TV with the exception of Dark Winds.Like watching a car crash I guess. Had hopes it would improve but did‘not.
Watched the final episode. I still liked it better than you but yea they don't need a season 2.Like watching a car crash I guess. Had hopes it would improve but did‘not.
Umbrella Academy returned to Netflix and I thought the first episode was terrific. It’s sort of the lighthearted side of HBO Max’s Doom Patrol (which is also excellent). If you’re not watching g Doom Patrol, Diane Guerrero is one reason to tune in…
The younger life backstories are well acted and explained.Thought I’d ask if anyone is watching The Old Man. So far i think it’s excellent. Jeff Bridges still has his fastball

Have enjoyed it as well and Dark Winds I believe is the other I recently started.Started The Old Man on FX with Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. Two episodes in and terrific already. Also What We Do In The Shadows is back starting July 12.
The Bear, FX/HULU. About a young chef taking over his dead brother’s Italian beef restaurant in Chicago. Half hour episodes, great acting and killer soundtrack.

Unfortunately, she's pretty dumpy in that series.
And she's also the "victim" of what I consider to be, perhaps, more annoying than car chases ... and that's turning "fighting within one's own mind" into actual acted out narrative. Otherwise, Doom Patrol is excellent, can't miss TV.
Umbrella Academy is OK. We haven't finished the third season yet ... almost, but not quite ... I just find myself legitimately not liking most of the characters. And, I'm just not buying the whole Ellen/Elliot Venya/Victor thing. Sorry. She went from a whiny grown woman to an 11 year old tiny boy who acts just like a whiny grown woman? I dunno ... it's not like she was acting like a masculine woman before, and now that she "transitioned," you get it ... she was like the ultimate overly-feministic tiny emo lesbian chick prior and it's virtually impossible to envision her as a dude. It's like trying to watch Dwayne Johnson wearing a wig of long hair, but acting like an over-the-top tough guy, and having him claim he's a chick.
Binged it. Enjoyed the pace - still revealing things.Thought I’d ask if anyone is watching The Old Man. So far i think it’s excellent. Jeff Bridges still has his fastball
We started the fourth season of Mrs. Maisel and the first seasons of Yellowstone and the French spy show ‘The Bureau’ this weekend. All very good (was surprised and how much I liked Yellowstone - it has a big, impressive cast and they don’t focus on Costner which I like). But, The Bureau is excellent - sort of like French Homeland with less jazz and nervous breakdowns (and multiple storylines happening at once). Highly recommend all three (The Bureau is on AMC+ or you can buy on Amazon or Apple).
Was Lip service a pun here? If not, pretty ironic.Just started this - loving it so far. Lot of lip service to foodies but also pretty authentic.

It has been renewed for season 2@rudedude
Three episodes in and really enjoying. Great idea for a tv show.
