We just started it and I agree it's a good show but the lead actor is a very bad actor. The rest of the cast is great."Reacher" on Prime very good so far, takes a minute to get use to the fact it's not Cruise playing Reacher.

Does it get any better? Watched the first episode and it was decidedly mediocre. I did, however, get a laugh out of the black police chief telling him to keep his wife's name out of his mouth at the end. Will Smith needs to get better material. We just started it and I agree it's a good show but the lead actor is a very bad actor. The rest of the cast is great.
FC: I just read a new Bosch series called Bosch Legacy is coming out May 6th.I just poped my cherry on Ozarks. Fantastic first episode. Please no spoilers!
We finished episode 4 last night and I figure we'll finish up the season to see how it ends. I couldn't imagine sitting through another season though.Does it get any better? Agree. I made it through the first half of the first episode of this latest season and thought to myself, "Do I really care about these characters anymore?" It's as if the creators are so busy patting themselves on the back for the curated self-indulgent style of the show that they have sort of abandoned cohesive storytelling. A 15 point NBA game in the third quarter seemed like a better use of my time.Killing Eve - maybe because too much time has gone by between watching episodes, but I have no idea what’s going on this season. Just can’t figure out the motives behind the revenge killings…. I really liked this show in years 1-2, but like many others, it has gone on too long…..Constantine, far and away is my favorite character.

Don’t worry. I don’t do spoilers…. My wife’s sister reads the end of a book first and often watches tv episodes in reverse order. Then she tries to tell you about it. I call her “the human spoiler.”No spoilers please! And this is the final season. So, your misery will end soon (if you bother to finish).
Apparently Foster dropped 60 pounds for the camp scenesAvailalble today on HBO/Max. Looks interesting.

Levinson was clueless with Paterno but I'll give him one pass due to Diner.
Found out today there are QR scan codes in episodes 1 &2 as well as Episode 5. The one in Episode 1 is about 5 minutes in and is on the wall when Steven is giving the small tour to the girl. Episode 2 is on the wall of the storage facility Steven goes into about 8 minutes in. Episode 5 it’s on the wall near the door where Marc/Steven’s childhood is. The codes allow you to go to a Marvel site where you can read three original Moonknight comics, including the Werewolf one which is supposedly going to be another one in the Marvel canon.Anyone watching Moon Knight?
The last 2 episodes have been off the charts trippy. Sort Noah of Hawley Legionesque.
Pretty fun.

Moon Knight show will end after episode 6. Whether he shows up again somewhere is ? I enjoyed the show as it is atypical stuff and Oscar Isaac is terrific.Oh, this is great to hear! You know I love Hawley and Legion. I also really want to like Moon Knight, but haven't dug the first three episodes (feels like a completely different universe than the MCU). This makes me want to watch immediately though!
Very cool! I missed that. I remember reading Moon Knight comics in the 80's and returning to the character in the 90's when Stephen Platt drew the series (and launched his career). Always a lot of potential, but they just couldn't figure out what to do with him. I still feel like that's the case, but Black Panther and Iron Man used to similarly suffer, and they really cracked the code on them.
I saw that too. There's got a lot of ground to cover in one episode.Moon Knight show will end after episode 6. Whether he shows up again somewhere is ? I enjoyed the show as it is atypical stuff and Oscar Isaac is terrific.
Supposed to be the shortest final episode of a limited series thus far, 41-45 minutes.I saw that too. There's got a lot of ground to cover in one episode.
I hope it comes back I liked it.
Under The Banner of Heaven on FX. From the Krakauer novel about religious fanaticism in the Mormon church. Fairly disturbing and well acted with Andrew Garfield, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Sam Worthington, and Wyatt Russell.
It’s worse because it’s a true story!!Been waiting for this; gives me some True Detective vibes....which I like!
This is almost certainly the wrong crowd, but is anyone watching Atlanta on FX? Slowly working itself in to my all time top five. This year has been tremendous as it's sort of split the season in half - one half follows our four main characters around Europe, the other is a sort of anthology series dealing with race/cultural issues throuh a Twilight Zone-esque lens. Unlike most shows that use blunt force to clumsily deal with these issues, Atlanta is much smarter and more nuanced. They're looking for a conversation, not one answer or another. These themes run throughout the entire series (clip from a fictitious 'talk show' one of the characters appears on from S1 deals with a 'trans-racial' teenager who thinks he's a 35 year old white man from Colorado).
Also, this week Liam Neeson made an appearance as himself. Tremendous writing from Donald Glover....video quality isn't great here, but the context is Paper Boi (Bryan Tyree Henry) took some drugs and ended up in a Lynchian bar called 'Cancel Club' where he runs into Liam Neeson at the bar. They have the following conversation....
Finished up the Winning Time series. Really liked it. Thought the guy who played Magic was very good and John C Rielly was excellent.I havent seen Jerry being a D*ck though, to me he just seems driven.
Watched Kin , about Irish mobs , pretty good. 5 episodes.
Caught the first 2 episodes, for free on Peacock, of The Man Who Fell to Earth. I liked it.What channel/service?
Figure we need a place for general movie/TV talk. Let’s use this this thread for stuff we’re watching, recommending, want to watch, new trailers, etc.
I’ll start - The Mandalorian spin off ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ looks pretty cool…
Anyone catch the first 2 episodes of Obi Wan?
I liked it. I'm not familiar with the "inquisitors" but like where its going.
Also thought the Bosch spinoff series was a little slow getting started but really liking it now.
There is some horrible acting and dialogue in this series especially with the character of Reva. Good grief amateur overacting at it’s finest. Hopefully this “Kylo-Ren” lite character gets offed soon.Anyone catch the first 2 episodes of Obi Wan?

I always thought the dialogue, in the Star Wars movies, was pretty cheesy. I really don't know anything about her story "arc" but I doubt she makes it till the end. There is some horrible acting and dialogue in this series especially with the character of Reva.
