New DC. New OC. New OL coach.

White's D has played better as of late, but you can't ignore the overall disaster the D has been for the majority of the season.

Give Loggains a soft exit to return to Arkansas. I think he is to be credited with Rattler's improved play, but the bottom line is the offensive scoring is down from last year and we ran last year's OC out of town. The play calling the last couple of weeks has been nothing short of criminal, continuing to run plays that have zero chance of working. Throwing the ball behind the LOS over and over and over again.

Teasley gotta go. He was a questionable hire at the very best.

We are no better than we were with Muschamp. If this ain’t coaching Maybe muschamp wasn’t the issue.

Are any of the 3 coaches I mentioned really much of a loss? Better question: would any of them be picked up by a team better than we are?

I’ve been in Loggains’ corner most of the season, but with the season on the line the last 2 weeks, his play calling was utterly atrocious. He made Satterfield look competent these last 2 weeks.

Overhaul the OL and things will get better.
If we have to play the OL recruits, they will be young, but they will be better - have to be.

Next year’s schedule is brutal. Relying on true freshman offensive linemen is not a recipe for success. I expect we will eventually have a good OL of all these players stay committed and pan out, but it likely will not be next year.

Not without the coaching - a good O-Line coach would have had this O-Line playing decent ball - it’s the lack of scheme being played - They looked confused all year and that’s simply coaching

Over haul the talent level. Somebody will have to be the scapegoat so might as well be the O-line coach. Don’t see how a new one could do worse.

I understand the sentiment of wanting to overhaul the coaches, but bottom line, we don't have much talent on this team

Oh, we definitely have talent issues, there’s no doubt about that. However, even considering the lack of talent, this team was just poorly coached. Multiple games this season we came out not even looking like we had a game plan or looking like we had even practiced all week. And most of the time Beamer acted totally stunned that we played like crap.

It was absolutely pathetic. An embarrassment to the profession.

OL has been terrible. So much so, that you wish you had last year's OL which was trash. The 3 man DLine is terrible. No pressure all season.
I think the OL and DC resumes need to be looked at this morning. OC is still in question. The last 2 games were terrible. I don't like when a coach schemes not to lose. Last night was utter garbage. He coached like he was scared. I still think he is an upgrade from last year but thats like saying your 300 lb wife is hotter than your 400 lb ex-wife.

It seems to me a lot of the OL issue is blocking schemes, far too many times our QB is sacked due to no one at all blocking a rusher. We need improvement on the OL for sure but I think coaching more of an issue here. See Missouri game for ex.

The 3 man front just started recently…when we stopped giving up miles of yardage and points to crappy teams. 2 biggest issues on this team are secondary and OL. Period.

White still needs to go. When your guys can’t tackle, it’s time. They’ve done a better job the last 3 games. But that shouldn’t erase the 9 previous. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, GTFO you’re fired.

Total Offense ....69th out of 130 teams..... BLAH
Rushing Offense ....126th...........HORRENDOUS
Tackles Allowed for Loss..... 125th.....HORRENDOUS
Sacks Allowed.......118th......HORRENDOUS

Total Defense....94th......POOR
Passing Yards Allowed......106th.... HORRENDOUS
Team Sacks......97th.....POOR
Team Tackles For Loss.....112th....HORRENDOUS

Penalties ....115th.....HORRENDOUS
Penalty Yards 83rd......POOR

If there was a metric to compare injuries among teams, I suspect the result would be ugly.

The good news is that one can objectively see where problems are. The bad news is that Shane Beamer is doing the hiring.

Constant reshuffling of the coaching staff is not a recipe for success. It is terrible for recruiting and leads to players going in the portal and the players who are the best are the ones who go in the portal. It is a hard truth that the head coach is responsible for every aspect of the team. When there are multiple areas that are problematic, the fault lies with the head coach. Unfortunately, Beamer has too many fans who love him because of his personality and are willing to overlook the on field failures and cling to the hope that if they "wait until next year" things will be good.

Yes, but those are the two main ones. Better OL and secondary play and we’re sitting at 8-4 at a minimum.
The OL has been bad for Beamer’s entire tenure. What other school would tolerate that? Our O regressed as the season progressed. Our ST regressed this year. Our D is consistently ranked very low under the White/Beamer brain trust. After 3 years, Beamer is who he is. He’s being paid $6MM for on the job training, and he doesn’t seem hell bent on winning and instead bitches about the fans. He’s prickly and thin skinned. He’s also not improving, and I’ve yet to see him actually out-coach anyone.

I found it ironic that last month when it was disclosed that some former players were critical of Spurrier when he was publicly pissed after a poorly played game. Yet, they won for him.

Players’ coaches rarely win.

FrWalker, don’t ever refer to me with such vile language again (Tater). Proud 1990 graduate of Carolina and daughter was a 2021 graduate. I was calling Clemson fans Taters before you had chest hairs.

The Total Offense and Total Defense rankings were actually updated. Everything else stays the same.

Total Offense is 81st, downgraded from BLAH to now POOR. Total Defense actually went up from 94th to 89th, but still POOR.

I was calling for White to be gone a few weeks ago. D did play way better at the end. That’s a tough call. O-line coach change would be something. At least gets the other staff to realize they are replaceable. So still a scapegoat move. Still say it was a lack of talent and depth issue. Either way, I can live with a new one if we can get a better one. Change for change sake isn’t going to help unless there’s a genius out there we can get.

It is coaching. You cannot hire on the cheap and expect "expensive" results. This is on Ray being penny-wise and pound-foolish. You have to make investments to have a return. Dumb moves.

So who is out there to get? Following our success in past years you go get Urban Meyer. I hate that guy. Would have to cheer and gag through each win. Joking, but we are on a course with Beamer for a few more years. And yes, Tanner put us on this course. I wish he would retire. I don’t what him making the next coaching decision on the football side. I hope Beamer figures it out. I still think he can recruit. He will have to make coaching changes along the way and that will save him or break him. Change for change sake is meaningless. Hope he can cherry pick top guys when they are available. College football is a tricky business now. Top guys have options so what do we have to offer? Difficult spot to be in

Fire your OL coach and it will likely assure us of losing several of these top rated lineman.

On the other hand, you entrust high-end OL talent to the coaching of an inferior, budget OL coach.

I've never been in favor of retaining underperforming coaches in order to keep recruits committed.

I guess some folks think our approach to staff evaluations should mirror that of our offensive approach in games: keep doing what doesn't work.

Muschamp left Beamer a crap roster…especially on the OL. Muschamp just didn’t recruit the OL or QB positions well at all. That’s not an easy fix. If we didn’t have 4-5* commits littered in the 23/24 classes I’d be concerned.

Genuine question for all the "fire everyone" people: What elite coaches do you think are blowing up Tanners phone trying to come be a coordinator here??

We win 8 last year and yall want Satt gone. You get your wish and now we have loggains and a 5 win team. Who do you honestly expect is going to walk thru that door when we fire him?
