It is way more than than an affinity for Joe Paterno, The BOT's actions and mismanagement of the situation caused damage to everything Penn State. From the school's reputation, to the mistreatment of fans at away games, to the alumni seeking employment shortly after the debacle, my own son included who was asked about it in job interviews. You're not making any sense, as usual. If I were going to argue for a position, it would be that withholding donations based on their affinity for an ex-football coach, and his alleged mistreatment, is NOT a good move.
Did she visit Scone Palace in Scotland? Did she have a scone while seeing the Stone of Scone in Edinburgh?Bob:
FYI
A woman from London spent 10 years sampling scones at hundreds of historic sites across the UK. She finished her quest at the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, where the scone was so good that she went back the next day for another. [From New York Times to which I don’t subscribe]
So, then ... you're sticking with holding grudges about a football coach is supposed to be on the "right" side of the ledger of how we should act as humans?
"alleged" mistreatment. LOLYou're not making any sense, as usual. If I were going to argue for a position, it would be that withholding donations based on their affinity for an ex-football coach, and his alleged mistreatment, is NOT a good move.
It works if the objective is not to get any money from them. But don't mind me, I'm the one with the "loser mentality."Oh geez, the blame the customer maroons are off their meds.
I feel any push back by ESPN and CNN "should" be met with questions why the enormous coverage, accusations, and calls for punitive action about PSU were dealt with enormous effort while the "scandles" at tOSU and UMich weren't even covered....considering the magnitude of those events dwarfs the event at PSU. Followed by the B1G hammered PSU but ignored tOSU and UMich. Those questions will never be addressedWell I think (hope) we have the right AD now in place to help drive an official ceremony to recognize Joe and his contributions. We also now have a president that was not here during Joe or right after so I am hopeful she is willing to listen and push this over the finish line as well. Would like to see this happen while Sue is still around. The biggest obstacle will be the push back by the media including ESPN and CNN (Sara). The president and AD will have to be willing to withstand that blowback and flip them the bird once and for all. Are they willing to do that we shall see....

I appreciate that I got to know Ray through you and MaconNitt... gonna miss him a lot!View attachment 338629
Getting this paver was a good idea as our “little brother” of the tailgate, Ray, tragically passed away last Friday from an aortic aneuryism. Only 52 yo. Gonna miss him a lot.
Fake Barry and his PiT nonsense. If the admin are the money-grubbing lot they are painted as here, they should recognize the value of making things "right" with the alienated alumni and go after that vast sum with their usual greediness. Guess what? They don't even give it a second look. They realized long ago the university was much better off without Paterno and the sheep that worship him.
The message here is "good riddance to bad rubbish- don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out"
"Joe said ....." "Joe would think ....." "Joe ...." F that noise. Thank God their numbers continue to dwindle through time.
