TC takes bottom. Kerk trips him back down, and gets RT over 1 min. Stalemate with 1:07 left (not sure about that call). TC gets flattened. RT goes over 2 min. End. RT @ 2:27 for Kerk as he rides him out

Starocci seemed a bit gassed tonight. Bartlett is too content trying to win 1-2 point matches, needs to open up offensively. SVN and Facundo need to get a bit stronger, skills are there. Both will be dangerous next year.

Kirk got the Angle here. That’s exactly what 141,149, and 165 needed to win. Outside shots with good set ups has worked for years against Iowa. They want to stand in front and pound your head. Just small adjustments.
This was a good meet. I understand some potential frustration, but this team is playing for March. Good learning experience for the young guys. Natty's are gonna be really really fun. 9 AAs is absolutely possible.
Brands stalled out the entire match, wrestled smart, but boring. A 1st or 2nd period stall call would have opened the match. BTW how did Warner lay on the mat for 2 plus minutes doing nothing and not get called for stalling

Ironhead indicates that he thinks it's likely that Vespa will be at 125 in future matches. Interesting.
