Yes. He’s just so vanilla. Hasn’t really improved on offense in all his time at Iowa. That said, SVN needs to find his offense and get out from bottom. He’s a freshman. He’ll figure it out.

Good catch. It's been several years since I had a HS match come down to criteria. A funny note on that -- it's a common theme amongst refs to not read the rule book in front of people, or to bring it out if there is a question during the match. You're supposed to read it in advance, and know it forward and backwards. The only exception is if a match gets to criteria. It happens so infrequently, plus in HS you never know how well the books have been maintained during the match. So to get things right if a match result does come down to criteria, we do bring out the book for that, as we usually need a refresher on what the criteria are.
I don't expect anybody to remember everything 100%. The big thing is knowing where to find the information. As long as it's right, that's what matters.

To be honest as mentioned Iowa wrestlers never improve. It’s just a fact. Their style is VERY boring. The elite best like to dominate and score points. Iowa has not developed wrestlers for decades. Just a fact. PSU guys ALWAYS get better as the season progresses and are great from year to year. Can’t wait till big tens. First let’s crush Ohio State this weekend.

You are right. I wasn’t sure who that was. I thought it was a defensive lineman.
Carter is a freaking BEAST. Gonna be one of the best ever. Young man will be a top 5 draft pick if used right. Love to see him at MLB. Let him make huge plays on both sides of the field plus hammer RB between the tackle’s. Parsons knows how great Carter is now.
So if Lee gets the pin and hypothetical Hwt pin doesn’t happen it’s 32-20 Penn State. Criteria win is arbitrary and STUPID.
Kraft is the best. He appears to be at every home meet & is certainly engaged / passionate.
