The team was solid on both sides of the ball against a tough Utah team. I tip my hat to Sean Clifford for bringing his best to this game. Great win by the Lions.

PSU wins and Michigan, Ohio State and USC all lose, with USC losing in particularly satisfying fashion (by one point after leading for the entire game, on national TV, to a non-Power 5 team).

Tennessee and Bama will absolutely be in front of us and the top 4 will only change in the order they started. 7 is high water mark, IMO
Should be when we jump Utah, USC, KansasSt., and Clemson without anyone else jumping us.

Back in the top ten, and it feels good. Overall, I think we’re a top-15 program given our resources, capability, and recruiting. Here’s to hoping player development (especially along the lines and QB position) can take us to that next level.

I had PSU parlayed with the under, so that stings a bit. I’d like to send a special eff you to Kyle Whittingham! Franklin was clearly trying to run out the clock with Tank Smith, and Kyle had to use every last timeout, like it was 35-31.
Pretty satisfying season though, and a lot to be excited about for next year. I think KLS can develop into a big-time stud at WR, although one portal addition would be nice

We are so frustratingly close. When our QB doesn’t kill us and we pressure the other team’s QB consistently, we can play with just about anyone.
FYI: We have won our last appearances in the five traditional New Year's Day Bowl games. Rose Bowl (2022), Cotton Bowl (2019), Fiesta Bowl (2017), Orange Bowl (2005), and Sugar Bowl (1982)
UM beat us soundly but we were in good position to beat OSU and let it slip away. Sometimes just one or two players makes the difference. For example how much difference would it have made if we had Flemming at WR?
With the exception of TCU, this is a poll that captures a lot of the blue bloods of the game. Just interesting - that is all.
