Wow, Penn State room looking a little weak. Lol
Jk, Carter was way overconfident.
He was not ready to go. That was a shocker.
Credit to Nate, he wrestled a very smart match.

I don't know. Sounds like a bunch of novelty matches to me.
It is, they are there to compete and have fun, very little stress just there to entertain us and themselves and it works!

Nate Jackson made the night for me not with his victory of carter but with the fun style he brought and he was there to win.

Agreed, I'm enjoying RAF. Chance to see some wrestling and a few legends you otherwise wouldn't get to see. You can definitely see the pro wrestling angle in it, I'm okay with that. I think it's pretty entertaining.

Hopefully that can build it to the point where the matches feel like there is something at stake. Maybe I was just tired last night but after watching all the incredible wrestling at U23s, I found it hard to care about any of the matches. Carr vs Salkazanov was the only match that felt “real” to me for some reason. The production was cool—and they cooled their jets in some of the WWE antics from the 1st, which I personally preferred. It’d be great to get a pro league to solvency but the jury is way out on this one, IMO.

I was there. I wasn’t feeling it, unfortunately. Sorry Willy. With nothing really at stake, the matches need to have action or be fun. On paper, Varner v Downey fit that description, but the actual match did not. NJ was entertaining. Henschel vs. Mugzy was prob the most entertaining match and it wasn’t between high-level guys. They’re going to need to make this fun to survive.

P.S. entire upper level was curtained off. One side of lower level had no one. Other side was pretty packed for length of mat then sparse to halfway around lower bowl.

Put meaningless exhibition matches on an obscure app that only hardcore fans would even 1)know about or 2)care to download. And have it on the same weekend as an event with actual meaningful matches where the hardcore fans are more likely to be watching. After the first one on Labor Day weekend competing with college football kickoff.

RAF has literally zero business strategy. They will probably really crank things up for RAF03 and have Mineo run some commercials on his Facebook group. RAF03, Thanksgiving weekend. Literally could not pick a better date to find as few people as possible to watch.

I can't get interested in freestyle. The refs overseas and the competitors make it very hard to watch. If there is any kind of folk style going on, no chance I'll watch free style. I can always watch some top level matches that are recorded.
