Guys at gym this morning saying that Eagles are not resigning Swift…does this open up $$$ to sign Saquon? Would love to see him in Philly!

I'm not an Eagles fan but that could be an interesting spot for him.
I would love to see him in Kansas City.
The Cowboys are willing to spend money and word is they weren’t happy with Pollard’s season as the starter. He’s not a feature back…but Saquon is.
For some reason that offense can’t seem to figure out how to use a RB.
My guess would be no on the Eagles. Saquon will want much more money than the Eagles are willing to pay for a RB. Howie doesn't value RBs that much.
why dont the Eagles want to resign Swift? I am sure he wants some $$$ but they you seen the list of RB's available? He might be happy to have a job when its all said and done

Well then I agree with you. Although I think they have had very middle of the road RB talent the last few years. Saquon to Buffalo would be a huge upgrade to anyone they have had recently.
Would be a great landing spot for him, but the Bills are more than $40mm over the cap.... and, yes, that's with the recent increase.

I’m not an Eagles fan, but IMO they should re sign Swift. He’s a Philly kid who wants to be there and he did everything you asked and more this season. Plus, the other free agent RBs aren’t going to be any cheaper. You know what you have in Swift. Sign him and concentrate on the defense. It was atrocious.
Love Saquon and would love for him to be an Eagle as I would love to see what he can do behind a good O-Line. However, he can't seem to stay healthy for an entire season and I don't see the Eagles shelling out the money he probably wants and the Eagles don't seem to want to commit to the run at times. I am not aware if the new OC likes to run the ball or not. I would hate to see him end up on the Cowgirls....
Barkley made $50 MM for his 6 years in New York. I guess it is a matter of if you think that is "gigantic".
Will he ever AGAIN sign a gigantic contract (by NFL standards) is another question. I would expect not.
