Alabama will likely feel an need to pour it on if they can.

If Texas continues on and wins, and Bama beats Georgia, Texas should still make the playoffs over Bama. That’s my opinion, and I don’t want to hear any stupid arguments otherwise.
Do you eliminate both Georgia and Alabama if Alabama, Michigan, and Florida State win? Texas beat Alabama, but in this scenario, Alabama would beat Georgia. Interested in opinions. If Alabama & Louisville win, you can only pick 4. Michigan, Washington, Texas, Alabama, Georgia. If Florida State wins: Michigan, Washington then 2 of 4, Florida State, Texas, Alabama (all champions) and Georgia. I think all of the schools mentioned above finish undefeated with Florida State's schedule.

Even more interesting if Iowa beats Michigan. Don't think they will, but ...

I only just now realized how Alabama scored at the end of the half. I was convinced that Saban would punt on that last fourth down. Wow, what a gutsy call.

Yes LJ, they did
Paying $25 grand+ per player ….
Could be why they got the notorious death penalty.

SMH. Since Thursday I’ve seen so many 4-1 getting stuffed because they all want to take the ball off the LOS. Go foward!!

It would set precedent if u eliminate Ga based on a Bama win. Could be argued logically that it makes sense, ala what have you done for me lately.

1st scenario=Michigan, Washington, Texas, FSU in.
2nd scenario=Michigan, Washington, Bama, TX.

Logic is 1 loss Conference winners

No chance in hell Iowa is beating Michigan….

They review that Georgia catch, but don't even look at the Bama catch on the 4th down play late in the half? Now they blow an obvious face mask.

Oof. uga fumble around their 10 yard line recovered by bama.

uga defense holds bama to a field goal. 20-10, bama.

Who was on GameDay this morning talking about scenarios? Was it the SEC Commissioner? He said something like, ‘Yeah, Alabama did lose to Texas - but what if they hadn’t played?’ Everyone nods and is like ‘Yeah, they’d be undefeated.’ He then says, ‘You have to reward them for losing because it’s gutsy to even play that game.’ So glad this horsesh*t is ending.

He also said you have to give Texas credit for winning the game….but apparently not as much credit as Bama gets for scheduling it. The narrative that the committee is going to use is already being set.

The one big downside to all of this is that if the SEC gets left out, Michigan has to be the favorite.
