I just got a message from Lil Ferentz. Enough of this! Shock and awe coming!!Iowa’s offensive juggernaut has begun….
Just think, James missed out on an offensive genius in Lil Ferentz…I just got a message from Lil Ferentz. Enough of this! Shock and awe coming!!
I’ve never got a pop up ad on this site…How do I stop the incessant pop-up ads on this crap website running iOS on my phone?
If the Ville wins tonight there’s gonna be several committee asking themselves “Why the F did I ever get involved with this sh$t”.
But not impossible…UM leads 10-0. Six safeties is a big ask for the Iowa defense .
I agree but you have to remember that the ACC desperately needs their only hope of a team to get into the Final Four. The $$$ is importantI think a Ville win saves the committee.
You may be rightI think a Ville win saves the committee.
As it stands, you have: Michigan, Washington and then having to pick 2 of FSU, Texas, Bama. If Louisville wins, they can easily keep FSU out as the easiest conference, and QB out, putting both Texas and Bama in. If FSU wins, then they have choose between (1) keeping an undefeated FSU out because of the QB, (2) keeping the SEC out of the playoff, or (3) putting a 1 loss Bama in over a 1 loss Texas who beat Bama at Bama. The Louisville is a god-send to them for avoiding choosing from between those 3 options.
Ad hoc is the playoff committee’s middle name.Since when do injuries determine more than won/loss records?
$2mm isn't that important, not even to the ACC.I agree but you have to remember that the ACC desperately needs their only hope of a team to get into the Final Four. The $$$ is important

Just the most unlikeable team college football has seen in a long time.
Once again, Herbstreit proves he's a moron (something that happens every three times he speaks). And it's almost a month until the semis and FSU's second-string QB should recover by then.Kirk Herbstreit feels that an undefeated Florida team should not play in the playoff because they’re playing a 3rd string QB. He’s basically saying that being 13-0 is meaningless if you can’t win. Everyone seems to be pointing at last year’s NC game/slaughter. (TCU/Georgia)

I agree, wins and losses must count or else the regular season becomes meaningless. In 2024/2025 the playoffs expand to how many teams?Once again, Herbstreit proves he's a moron (something that happens every three times he speaks). Kirk was micromanaging Brian .Iowa's offense is just so danged balanced. 30 yards passing, 31 yards rushing.
Tough to defend against such a balanced attack.
Yes! No one is even acknowledging that. The narrative has already been set.Once again, Herbstreit proves he's a moron (something that happens every three times he speaks). And it's almost a month until the semis and FSU's second-string QB should recover by then.
Not sure Reaper,How?
It's actually a written consideration for the committee. Something like "available players"Since when do injuries determine more than won/loss records?
What was Kirk saying back in 14 when OSU was on their third string QB but still got into the playoffs (and won it)?Kirk Herbstreit feels that an undefeated Florida team should not play in the playoff because they’re playing a 3rd string QB. He’s basically saying that being 13-0 is meaningless if you can’t be competitive in the playoffs. Everyone seems to be pointing at last year’s NC game/slaughter. (TCU/Georgia)
