Trashed another poster’s choice? Hardly. I would guess you may be the only person that views it that way. The larger point my post was making was about the diversity of musical tastes. It’s just music, no personal judgements being made.
Nice try.

I don't know what is a perfect song. It depends what your mood is and what you are up for but the best songs are the ones that touch my heart and they are usually sad songs. So there is this one.

For example, I think this a great song, but I don't consider it perfect. I think it would be better if they removed about 80% of the backup vocals (doowop?!?).

These songs, on the other hand, I consider great and can think of no changes that would make them better.

I love the almost psychedelic vibe of this:

Crank this one up:

I love the visual story this one tells:

This is obviously very subjective so have at it.

Joni. Perfection.

Beato recently shot a video with Mary Spender discussing Jim Croce’s “Operator (That’s Not the Way It Feels” which is my favorite Croce song. So damn lyrically smart and beautiful.

I recommend you check out Mary Spender’s YouTube channel, and her main site. https://www.maryspender.com/ As someone that still buys physical albums, I'm glad that she still puts out CDs, but they sell out fast as she can't afford to print too many.
