Wow, I haven’t heard or even thought of that one in a long time. Strong choice!
Thought I read somewhere that Paul McCartney thought God Only Knows was the best song ever, or the one he most wishes he had written.
Both are awesome. I would give the edge to Buckley given that his cover of Hallelujah is his seminal performance with his voice as his instrument.

And so I return from abroad and make this my first post (allowing me to avoid commenting on our latest on field "efforts" that I thankfully missed). As to the post... this song just has it all (for me).
