I don’t know about getting banned and all that. But referring to your son’s friends or teammates as “Ns” and not expecting people to call it out is silly. You shouldn’t have used that here, regardless of whether your African American friend told you that you can refer to him that way or not. I think lionjim has it right. Just acknowledge you shouldn’t have used that reference here and move on.

I just wish ANYONE here would be man enough to say what they mean. I mean, as we know, laKa is just trash, so I know he'll never be man enough to do it (he's used this reference multiple times on this board), but I don't know what the great mystery is around alpha's comments. I mean, alpha is apparently confused by my comments ... and I'm more than willing to clarify that (it's quick and easy) ... but not until alpha is done playing whatever game he's playing for whatever reason.

Ah, OK. I had no idea he was an Iggles fan, and didn't really know Tom was, either. Shows how much I pay attention. I also, obviously, had no clue there were any assertions of pro-Iggles moderating biases.
"You guys" = conservative. Since I had no idea what you were referencing, and the only complaint I've heard about Tom was that he allegedly favors non-cons, that was all I had to go on. And since laKa doesn't speak English, I figured that maybe you didn't know his political leanings.
I’m going to the Phillipsburg vs. Winslow Township game on Wednesday night at Rutgers Stadium.
Phillipsburg a had a great year and will be playing an undefeated Winslow Township team for the Group 4 State Title. With the new playoff format in New Jersey this is not a “sectional” state title but truly a State Title. However, because of this rivalry game against Easton on Thanksgiving Day Phillipsburg gets 6 days rest and Winslow gets 12 days rest. Shouldn’t the priority be the State Title and shouldn’t the NJ state conference committee mandate that to be adhered to?

You, out of nowhere, claimed someone wouldn't be banned (that potential action hadn't even been talked about), and you accused someone of taking such actions (or lack thereof) due to some motivation, which you wouldn't disclose. That's, of course, extremely cowardly. Since I had no idea what you were accusing anyone of, I asked you ... quite plainly and nicely. You, again, took a snarky tone in doubling down on your cowardice, by refusing to answer and telling me it was obvious, if I just thought about it. Of course, it wasn't obvious, because I wasn't even aware of certain folks' team allegiances, and being a reasonable human, even if I did know that, I wouldn't have surmised that this would be a reason to not ban someone. So, because you wouldn't share any of your reasoning behind your accusations, after being asked ... I contingently speculated ... notice I preceded my statement with "if" ... because I was stating I didn't know ... I wasn't accusing anyone of anything. I was just clarifying a point. Nothing more. You, again, refused to clarify your initial cowardly accusation, and then doubled down and tried to accuse me of something, in the form of a faux-question (another cowardly move). There was NO prejudice revealed on my part ... I simply identified laKa as a fellow (to you) conservative. Which is a FACT. People express opinions and people disagree which usually leads to arguments. The hope is that after two or three posts it stops. If it doesn’t stop commonsense will tell you that the only way to deescalate a verbal disagreement like this one is to silence yourself and walk away from that keyboard. Personally speaking the ultimatum of silencing oneself to avoid ideological disagreement is not easy! Just ask anyone that’s married.
