I've seen enough up our games to know how this thing would play out. Looked and saw they were up 30-27 and was about to just put the phone away for good, but the video was playing above the score, so I decide to watch our final drive...on mute.

That last drive just left me speechless. We don't win moments like this. Several mega clutch plays on the drive and then that final run by Sanders, he was just churning and simply refused to go down. I just couldn't believe what I was seeing.

The mentality of this team...to win a game on a night against a very tough opponent when we didn't have our best stuff. Our pass rush was really not much of a factor most of the night, and that's our bread and butter. Much like the 2022 UT game, I'm having trouble processing this win.

Started the first drive of the second half throwing the ball like we were going to run them out of the stadium but then DLogg went back to his old self and ran the same running play they were stuffing all night.
Nice to deliver a game ending final drive to beat Mizzu for a change, particularly after the way they were ragging the crowd when they took the lead.

They did a phenomenal job holding USC’s run game in check. They seemed well prepared in that phase of the game. Thankfully, Sellers has grown more and more confident as the games have progressed and played lights out!

This is why I have been saying "Trust the Process" when some people became a little negative about Sellers early in the year. We have a lot of fans that think we can never win big or win championships here. However, after really taking a good look at Sellers in the State Championship game his Senior Year in HS, the movie "The Matrix" came to mind. I 've felt since then "He's the One.". Lattimore was a big recruit. Gilmore was an important recruit, but we had never had that QB that had it all. Athleticism, Elite Arm Talent, Strength, Elite Size. My only question was how would that talent translate and how long would it take. These last three games are showing me that it is happening faster than even I expected. I haven't been this pumped up about our program since the Lattimore Georgia game in 2010. Yes it can happen here and I believe it will.

Actually, when we called time out during Missouri’s last drive, I said “what in the world are we doing the clock for them?” But all went exactly according to plan, they punted, and we got a touchdown. Fantastic coaching there by Beamer. As good as that was, however, his coaching decisions to start the second half or equally horrific.

As it is, it was one of those games. We made some dump plays and dumb calls, but made some great plays and great calls. Beamer just needs to be thanking his lucky stars that the team was good enough to overcome the bad decisions.

Rewatched the game. A lot of things went our way that usually don't. We had two fumbles and recovered both. Sellers threw a pick on the next play after he recovered his own fumble so that drive still ended with a turnover. Missery missed a FG, so no harm. We benefited from two DPI penalties that could've easily been no calls. On defense, we had a no call in the end zone that could have easily been DPI. Sellers was sacked, but it was wiped out by defensive holding that was borderline. There were 2 or 3 video reviews of low catches that could've gone either way. Oh, and as it turned out, Kilgore helped us win by missing the tackle at around the 5 yard line on Missery's last TD. The way they were running the ball on us, I'm assuming they would've scored anyway after using more clock. I'm not taking anything away from the victory. Usually the blue blood teams get the calls and maybe we were the blue blood because we've been in the SEC longer.
