No, Auburn does not have an airport of size

Did the team fly to auburn

So they bus to Auburn because by time they load bus at Stadium, unload at airport in Montgomery or Columbus (GA), go through security, load plane, unload and load at GTR, there isn’t much difference in flying vs driving.

They don’t go inside for security at these airports.
All done prior to the charter flight.

For what it is worth. The BBall team would fly cause they could land in Auburn, although if the weather was not good, Columbus or Montgomery came into play. Since you can’t do a 737 etc into Auburn, it really makes no sense to fly in to the other close airports and then bus when you could have just bussed to be in with.

Cohen did not want to spend money……are you shocked?

This is the same guy who told Bo Bounds he is not a ring guy, and therefore he didn’t go all out on our World Series rings. This guy sucks!

If so then 17 Cohen.
Even simpleton got us charters to Montgomery and to Columbus.

Y’all just grasping for something to ***** about if a three and a half hour drive is “pinching pennies”. Especially when you consider time boarding the plane, possibility for bad weather, maintenance delays etc. Go back to being the CEO of your double wide.

Dude it’s 4 hours no matter how you drive it and you obviously are a dubmass when it comes to how teams travel via charter flights. Why don’t you go back to your double wide and be the *****.

What the hell do you two have against double-wides?

And for the record, 300 miles is the fly vs drive rule. Charter might shave some off that, but not when you end up with an hour long bus ride anyway. The 60 mile bus ride from Montgomery to Auburn makes the charter flight silly. Load and unload your **** twice as much. Wait on air traffic, weather, mechanical ****. No thanks.

30 minutes to GTR. 20-30 minutes to load up the plane. 1 hour flight. 20-30 minutes to load the bus. 1 hour drive. So 3.5 hours if everything goes perfect? Vs 4-4.5 on a bus where the team can sit in one seat and snooze.

Tilting windmills here fellas.
