A realtor friend just called me and said she received a call from Fumi Franklin about houses in and around Lincoln.

I don’t think many saw Nebraska losing to GA Southern. That was an obvious game changer.
I think the administration anticipated an ugly scene and that factored in to the urgency.
Not gonna be popular here.....and I think he's not a candidate.....but for Nebraska, I'd choose Urbs.
He might be the only guy that would be available in a short time frame.

But Urbs is not currently coaching so Trev can initiate discussion before end of season And no buy out. Hence -available sooner.
Without steroids, instate walk-ons, and a recruiting deficit, who will want that job in hell?
Lot's of guys making $750k as coordinators would kill for a 4-5 year 26-30 million dollar deal. Even if you fail you go back where you started ....but with life changing $$$ for your family. Attracting a high profile proven winner may be difficult and will cost substantially more.
