Perhaps it was a negotiated figure. I'm sure Frost wasn't looking forward to coaching until then.Nebraska doesn’t even wait for the buyout to drop Oct 1
Wish I could say that makes it all better.Friend that's an alum days Frost's failure is karma for fluke 1997 championship
I think the administration anticipated an ugly scene and that factored in to the urgency.Oklahoma - Nebraska in Lincoln should be interesting next Sat!
Not gonna be popular here.....and I think he's not a candidate.....but for Nebraska, I'd choose Urbs.So who are there realistic options?
Luke Fickell?
Matt Rhule?
Mike Gundy?
Dave Aranda?
Urban Meyer?
He might be the only guy that would be available in a short time frame. Not gonna be popular here.....and I think he's not a candidate.....but for Nebraska, I'd choose Urbs.
They have an interim. He might be the only guy that would be available in a short time frame.
Gonna be interesting.
Success Without Honor! Not gonna be popular here.....and I think he's not a candidate.....but for Nebraska, I'd choose Urbs.
I don't think that's a priority. They would hire Satan at this point. That's why I suggested Urbs.Success Without Honor!
Yes. Mickey Joseph. They have an interim.
Without steroids, instate walk-ons, and a recruiting deficit, who will want that job in hell?I don't think that's a priority. They would hire Satan at this point. That's why I suggested Urbs.
Lot's of guys making $750k as coordinators would kill for a 4-5 year 26-30 million dollar deal. Even if you fail you go back where you started ....but with life changing $$$ for your family. Attracting a high profile proven winner may be difficult and will cost substantially more.Without steroids, instate walk-ons, and a recruiting deficit, who will want that job in hell?
Whenever Nebby and Wisky play -there are a lot of weird hats in the stands.
next victimWhat about Josh Gattis? Seriously, I think he would be a good get for them
I would love to see the explosion on The Lair.Narducci to Lincoln.
Nebraska fired Frank Solich 2 decades ago after a 9-3 season and never recovered. They haven’t been good since. Iowa is about to join them in football futility and their decline began when they booed injured players. Karma is a *****.
With Oklahoma coming in next week, they wanted to avoid an ugly scene. When things get to "not if but when," I suppose you need to consider all the variables.Wow....is all I can say. IIRC that buyout drop was pretty big. Couldn't wait 3 weeks? They must have someone in mind. Urbs was my first thought as well.
Bo wants a piece of the action. The Frank Solich Curse continues
