I hate to see Shuster leave, he reminds me too much of Hines Ward. I can see him thriving in KC. He and Kelce underneath, with Hill over top provides three nightmare match ups for defenses.

It probably won't happen, but Jarvis Landry could fill Juju's role.

Daniel Jeremiah draft has Steelers taking Malik Willis first round
It makes sense with all the free agent moves they've made. I'd like them to wait until next year to draft a QB but they're the experts. 🤷‍♂️

I'm hoping that Kahn is not as woke as what he sounds in this response.

Yep, We're thrilled you waited until after the draft to let us know you are bagging out. That's beneficial to us in planning a path forward for our DL and the defense going forward.

We're thrilled we paid you your whole 2021 salary and that you still bagged out on your team after we gave you a year to get it together.

We'll be thrilled to follow Tuitt's personal life closely, because our seasons going forward will end abruptly at the end of the regular season and we'll have plenty of time on our hands to do things that have nothing to do with winning football game......

And so on........

And saying Tuitt had an 8 year career is misleading. How may seasons worth of games was he even available to play? 5?

I hope like Hell Kahn's remarks make you quit following the Steelers/NFL because that's an incredibly ignorant take. His brother got killed in a hit and run last year so they should have just cut him?

I thought you quit watching the NFL when guys were kneeling. Man of your word I see.

Sorry, you'll be disappointed. Only quit following the kneelers.

The world knows his brother was killed. A tragedy. But most people can't take a year off from life, and if he was going to retire it would have been a service to his team mates and his team to do it before the draft in order to help the team that has stood behind him through all of his extended injuries and issues.

I'm also sorry you can't see the difference between the remarks, which are harmless, and the reflection they may have on putting a winning team on the field. Which is actually why Kahn is getting paid.

Feel free to take your own advice......

So if you were the Steelers GM...enlighten all of us what your statement regarding Tuitt's retirement would have sounded like? BTW...what the **** does "Woke" mean?

He's 29 and injured often as you ironically noted while saying he abandoned ship. I bet you know they drafted a player in the 3rd round to replace him, but that doesn't fit your ignorant jibberish.

If it's gibberish, why in your omnipotent wisdom are your responding to it.

Yes I know they drafter a DL player in draft. Would they have drafted a DL player earlier if they were sure Tuitt wasn't returning? Who knows. Possibly the Steelers knew he was leaning towards returning. But Heyward not too long ago said that he was sure Tuitt was returning. So who really knows.

Post-Gazette article reviewing the lack of depth and lack of options to shore up the Steelers DL

The timing of the Tuitt announcement is unfortunate for the Steelers because the only move they made in the offseason to bolster their defensive line was the acquisition of Demarvin Leal in the third round of the draft.

They did not sign a defensive lineman in free agency other than re-signing Montravius Adams for $5 million over two years. They must like Adams because they did not trade up to get Jordan Davis, the consensus No. 1 defensive lineman in the draft. And they showed no urgency in trying to land Phidarian Mathis or Travis Jones, two other interior defensive linemen who could have bolstered the depth behind 35-year old nose tackle Tyson Alualu, who is coming off a major ankle injury. Mathis was selected in the second round and Jones in the third, a few picks before the Steelers drafted Leal.

If the Steelers are concerned about their depth there aren’t a lot of great options. The Buccaneers signed Akiem Hicks earlier this week. He was the top defensive lineman to remain unsigned.

Thoughts on Andrew Luck?

This is a low class, ignorant comment that really has no place here. It’s sad that this is what we have stooped to as a society.

On the football side of things, the XM guys were discussing the Steelers possibly pursuing Suh yesterday. This was before the Tuitt news came out, so it would be even more relevant now. I’m not a big fan of Suh, but he would bring instant credibility to the Steelers DL. He is a free agent currently.

Word out of the Stillers‘ practice facility is that Kenny Pickett laughs at Mitch Trubisky.

All the information from inside sources at the Steeler’s organization led everyone to believe he was coming back. Not sure what changed his mind. Oh well….
2 years in a row.

Not sure I understand…2years in a row..
Vince was poised to start last season and retired the night before training camp started. Just saying this is the second year in a row a guy retired after the draft. It happens when you deal with guys on the back side of their career.
