Two things I am tired about hearing about Caitlin Clark.

And I promise you that saying she is the leading scorer in women’s D1 history will not diminish what she has done. For me at least. Seems like maybe it would for you.
No, I’m just good enough at math to see which one has more points. Right now it’s Maravich, by the end of the season, who knows. Whichever one ends up having more will be the all time leading scorer in D1 basketball history.

I’ll ley you take it from here after this because this really is pretty silly. I don’t find it any more special that she is passing Maravich than simply putting up the totals she is putting up. Likewise, I would say the same about any man that passes her mark in the future. They are separate entities and the NCAA itself distinguishes them as such. My belief is that the media is using Maravich to give the mark some extra gravitas and it is unnecessary. The mark she has put up is already enough without having to bring men into the equation.

Why does anyone care that they report something that is factually true…if she scores more points than him then she beat what he did. It’s really nothing more than that.

If the women's game was played with a men's regulation sized basketball I would be all with the Caitlin Clark media frenzy. But the women's game is played with a smaller basketball but with the same sized hoop. To me it's easier for the smaller ball to fit through the hoop compared to a men's basketball. I am tired of the women's basketball game being compared to the men's when they play with a smaller ball. It is not apples to apples. Apologies to anyone offended but I cannot take the Clark hoopla. The other being Swift and Kelse.
What, does Taylor have smaller balls?

I know you like Taylor 'nighter, but full 2 1/2 hour drives back and forth to State College with her songs blasting and teen girls screaming along might change your mind. 🙉🙉🙉🤣🤣🤣

This isn’t you?

Don't hate the player, hate the game

I'll tell my kids that we're switching to DMB radio for one song...they've learned now that the song could be 20 minutes long.

But they are. Every graphic shows how many points behind Pistol Pete she is. Even though he only played 3 yrs, and played without a 3 pt line. Oh ya and with a larger ball which was tougher to get in the basket.

Pete would've had 5000 pts with a 3 pt line and extra year.
I’m glad you didn’t mention how Pete would have played, with smaller balls. Maybe we would be talking about Patricia right now.
