Wow, England very bad by any measurable standard. They played very hard and intently during stoppage time but off just enough to make the difference, no shots on goal that I noticed. Bad.

My only explanation is that someone informed the English team that there was plenty of space in that cemetery that Schalke built right outside of Veltins-Arena.

hard to believe. Slovakia had this won, but got tired/sloppy at the very end of regulation, and now is going home.
